A quality entry, with varying types. I did find that a lot of jackets are softer than the standard requires, that would give the protection when going to ground and against inclement weather. I also noted that some are losing the broad chest and substance, getting narrower in front. Muscletone could also be improved.

1st: 1580 SKUDDER, Mrs T & CALEY, Mrs Angela Les Nuit De Hadrien Del Colle Di Ottone (Imp) It. 9mth black who presented a typical compact outline. Maturer in body than 2nd. He has a pleasing head, enough strength, with good head planes, large teeth and tidy ears. Good length of neck, a level topline, correct ribbing, tail on top and some behind. He has a clean front, with some forechest. He was sporting a jacket that was thick and had some crisp texture developing. He moved well , clean in front and keeping a good profile on the send around.
2nd: 1554 ASHWORTH, Miss Emily Jane Lochgems Sole Sensation For Naviba. 7mth black. Pleased for overall size and balance and was finer built than 1st. Clean through head, adequate neck, tidy in front, with clean ribbing, level topline and tail on top. Was sporting a thick well prepared jacket and he was on his toes today.

1st: 1573 MAIDMENT, Mrs Lyn & MAIDMENT, Miss Bethany Berrybreeze Wisdom. A smart 13mth youngster, balanced throughout, presents a good shape , size and impresses on the move. Liked his head, balanced, it has the required strength in jaw, with nothing overdone. expressive eye, strong dentition and good earset which were used well. clean through neck, short back, well ribbed, tail on top and some behind. Body and rear developing well. clean in front with adequte breadth. He was sporting a well presented jacket, which was thick and harsh on top. moved steadily, covering the ground well.
2nd: 1585 WILLIAMS, Miss D J & WILLIAMS, MRS Hilda & WILLIAM Celmareva Hakuna Matata. A 13mth brindle, slightly longer cast than 1st. He was on his toes and moved with purpose and confidence, covering the ground. He was sporting an excellent jacket, with undercoat and harsh top coat. Pleased through head and neck. good breadth, straight topline and tail ok. well made rear with strength. Ample bone and good substance.

1st: 1577 NORTON, Mrs Victoria Rose & NORTON, Miss Frances & Divadell Mighty Quinn JW. A clean moving young black dog, kept his profile shape and was very clean behind, with drive. Good for overall shape and balance., nothing exagerated. Tidy in head, typical, with adequate strength, dark eye, , clean skull and ears ok. Clean in front assembly, well ribbed and tail ok. he was sporting a good harsh jacket. still just a youngster and more fill and substance will complete the picture.

1st: 1562 HARRISON-BROWN, Mrs J & NORTON, Mrs Victoria Divadell Who's The Man.4 yr old black. Typically headed, adequate strength, would like a darker eye. He moved cleanly both ways with good reach and drive, covering the ground well. Adequate width, long in loin, tail ok. jacket presented in good condition.

lovely class, with quality and differing type.
1st: 1560 DIXON, Ms G Ch Chatterdale Star Eclipse. A 2 yr old black dog, who impressed throughout today. Hes very easy on the eye, balanced, thick set, without been overdone, short legged, compact, clean on the move and well presented. He has a long head, enough strength, dark almond shaped eyes and a correct ear set,, which produces a typical expression. Clean through strong neck, leading into a correct front assembly, with depth in chest and well placed elbows. Tidy in topline, short loin, tail on top and some behind. His rear has the required strength and is well angled. He was well schooled and handled and really looked the part on the send around, covering the ground in a very clean action and keeping a good shape. His thick jacket, was well prepared, but would like it a little harsher on outer. Hes a young showman and fully deserved his CC & BOB.
2nd: 1566 KENNY MARRIOTT, Mrs A & MARRIOTT, Mr J Heath Hill Kingly Step To Millingford (imp Jpn). 2 yr old black, who is certainly of a suitable size to go to ground. He has a balanced head, correct eye and good ears and set, giving a typical expression. He presents a good overall shape, compact , low and balanced. Clean through ribbing which has a good depth, strong topline, loin and tailset. Nicely angulated rear assembly with some strength. He was well presented and did not let himself down on the move, covering the ground steadily, cleanly and with purpose. RCC

1st: 1571 MAIDMENT, Mrs Lyn & MAIDMENT, Miss Bethany Quaint Sabayon (Fin Imp) A very pleasing well made black 7 yr old bitch. Shes balanced, in proportion, typey and has good bone and substance. She has a good head and expression, adequate neck and a decent front assembly. Well ribbed, deep in chest and a strong topline. She was put down in good hard condition, decent jacket and moved very steadily all ways. BV

two raw puppies and nothing much between them at this stage, just prefereed topline of winner today.
1st: 1570 LOCKWOOD, Mrs D Tatuin Tropicana At Lochgems (Sp Imp) NAF. Balanced, compact in body and clean topline. Good breadth, clean ribbing, ample bone and tail on top, with plenty behind.
2nd: 1565 HOVAGIMYAN, Mrs Christine Verascott All You Need Is Love. pleasing for type, good bone and substance for age. pleasing in head, neck and ribbing. moved confidently and was sporting a crisp jacket for age.

1st: 1568 KIRK-GELLATLY, Mrs L Kingsview Just Eleanor. Feminine 17 mth black who scored for size and balance. Typical in head, feminine, but with strength. clean through moderate neck, with strength. level topline, tail on top and plenty behind. Well made rear with adequate angles and substance. Clean mover, keeping her shape at all times. well handled.
2nd: 1557 CHAPMAN, Miss Clair Berrybreeze Burnt Toast. A stronger bitch, brindle with harsh jacket. Just carrying a little extra substance today and not the toplie of 1. well ribbed and strong rear quarters with wide buttocks..

She has a long a head., strong jaw and muzzle, good dentition, dark eyes and well set and used ears. Moderate neck, leading into a good front, with some forechest. well ribbed, deep , clean topline, tail bang on top and a very good rear, with anglutaion and strength.she moved with confidence, keeping her shape and covering the ground cleanly. She did enough to be rewarded with the RCC.
2nd: 1576 NORTON, Mrs Victoria Rose & NORTON, Miss Frances & Divadell Harleyquinn JW. Another who ticked a lot of boxes. Another with a lovely head, good neck and tail on top. A strongly built rear assembly that looked the part stacked and on the move. Pleasing to go over, but not the topline or substance of winner. Sporting her best jacket today.

She was clean to go over , with substance, bone and good ribbing, with tail on top. She moved very well, keeping her shape, with correct angulation front and back.
2nd: 1574 MCCRACKEN, Mrs Amanda Elizabeth Carisco Myrtle Beach To Amawyn JW. Another who was clean to go over and was sporting her best black harsh jacket. Closer to ground, balanced and of a good size. Tidy head, neck ok, tail on top and strong rear. moved Ok but not as all together as winner.
3rd: 1563 HILL, Miss P Skircoat Sicilienne Of Tahgmor

1st: 1559 DIXON, Ms G Ch Chatterdale Catch A Star. A A 3 yr old black, who I now see is the dam of my BOB. She carries the same qualities and has passed on well. I liked her size, feminine, balanced and of good type, with nothing overdone. She has a very good head, with strength of muzzle, good length and well set and used ears. Clean through lengthy neck that is well placed into clean shoulders. Well ribbed back, tidy tailset and some behind. A thick well prepared jacket finished the picture. She looked the part on the move, keeping a excellent profile shape and with drive from behind. CC.
2nd: 1567 KENNY MARRIOTT, Mrs A & MARRIOTT, Mr J Millingford Out Of The Blue. Another who ticks the boxes, feminine, balanced and good for overall size. Liked her head, with dary eye and well set ears. Clean to go over, well sprung ribs, level topline and tail on top. she moved well covering the ground and keeping her shape.
