LKA has been Top of my Judging Bucket List for over 3 decades so i was thrilled to be invited for 2025. Thank you to my very efficent Stewards, Sharon and Wayne. Thank you exhibitors for entering and accepting my placings with Good Grace, another day, a different venue and the results could be very different. Today i felt the strenght of the Breed was in the males, open and limit full of quality, minor puppy with exciting new prospects starting out on their show careers. Open bitch teeming with mature, quality exhibits. Hind action leaves much to be desired, single tracking, lacking drive and essential kick up showing full pads. Still far too many small, light eyes. Mucky eyes detract from the overall expression.  Presentation surprised me, knots/matts are not acceptable.

Class 2147 MPD (7 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5718 SMITH, Mrs J E & SMITH, Miss J Ralphina All About Otto At Snowshoes. Very promising 7 months G/W , self assured puppy who stood out in this class for his composure, overall shape & balance of head to teapot tail. Most appealing expression, ex head shape, well spaced dark eyes, ex pigment. Happy mover, keeps level topline, shows full pads. Ample bone under beautifully presented puppy coat.
2nd: 5715 SHULVER, Miss Marcelle Shidizzle Quartzite Star Of Crimsonleash. 8 months G/W who immediately catches the eye. Intelligent, smiley dark eyes, soft yet masculine expression, ex pigment, ex width of jaw. Free stands, what you see is exactly what you get when hands on. Ample bone, body of correct proportions, enthusiastic baby, liked his attitude.
3rd: 5679 FINNANGER, Ms Hege Mari Hin Chen's Orient Express


Class 2148 PD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5731 WILLETT, Mr John & WILLETT, Mrs Debbie Debeaux Eye On The Ball. You have to get up close and personnel to fully appreciate the expression and head qualities of a solid black. This 10 months boy is an absolute joy with his large, round dark eyes, so full of mischief, demands attention. Excellant overall balance, head held high on moderate lenght of neck, level topline leading to correctly set teapot tail.  Ample bone under a profuse jet black jacket. Circles the ring with ease, good forward reach, just  a little untidy rear action. BDP.
2nd: 5657 BRIGGS, Miss J Warathwaite Hear Me Roar, 9 months gold, love his head and expression, enhanced by black mask. Body of correct proportions, carries himself with confidence, head held high on moderate lenght of neck, correctly set, heavily furnished tail. Drives off well developed hindquaters, showing full pads. Tended to lose shape on the final go round.




Class 2149 JD (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 5694 HATTEN, Mrs M Thaisu Hot Topic At Marbo, 17 months G/W. Stunning head, large, round dark penetrating eyes that look straight through to your soul ! Ex pigment, cushioned muzzle, ex mouth, well defined chin. Well made throughout, barrel ribcage, level topline, correct tailset and carriage all wrapped up in a full coat of correct texture. Moves out with forward reach, drives off muscled hindquaters showing full pads. Put down in first class condition.
2nd: 5729 WILLETT, Mr John & WILLETT, Mrs Debbie Debeaux Magic In The Making. 14 months eye catching jet black and white. Good width of skull, cushioned muzzle, ex dentition, ex furnishings for his age. A little higher on the leg but all in proportion, keeps level topline at all times. Correctly set, heavily plumbed tail. Tends to get over enthusiastic on the move losing his shape. Excellent presentation.

Class 2150 YD (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5658 BROWN, BROWN & ILEY, Mr, Mrs & Mr S, S & D Hin Chen's Mount Everest (Imp Nor). Very smart 19 months G/W. Scores in head properties, soft yet masculine expression, dark eye, ex pigment. So well balanced, level topline, head proudly carried on strong neck, in perfect unison with correctly set on teapot tail. Moves with forward reach and drives from well muscled hindquaters showing full pads. In full coat expertly prepared.
2nd: 5697 HERRING, Mrs Karen Susan & HERRING, Mr G & BAKER, Matsonic Bright Spirit At Quingshui, 23 months black masked gold who is maturing into a very handsome lad. His round, dark eyes just defy you to ignore him. So well balanced from proud head carriage on strong neck to correct tailset and carriage. Moved with enthusiasm on sturdy legs keeping a level topline. Presented in profuse, beautifully conditioned coat of correct texture.
3rd: 5721 STEVENSON, Mrs Catherine Shenleyvale Fifty Shades Of Orange


Class 2151 PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5661 BROWN, Mr S & Mrs S Rossvale I Have A Dream Jw. Like the size and overall balance of this 22 months G/W. Head of correct proportions, large, round dark eyes, padded muzzle, has an amusing, quizzical expression. Strong bone, barrel ribcage, level topline leads into correctly set and carried teapot tail.Beautifully put down, coat  of correct texture. Best mover in this class.
2nd: 5704 MACDONALD, Mrs E Hin Chen's Just For You At Centastage (imp Nor). 2 years Gold/Brindle and White. So full of energy and mischief which shows in his sparkling  dark eyes. Balanced outline of correct proportions, strong bone, level topline, correctly set and carried tail. Would have liked a little more “umph” on the move.

Class 2152 LD (7 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5675 DYKER, Mrs K Thaisu Morningstar Avec Kimevan Jw .  The most captivating head and expression on this 3 year old black mask solid gold. So well balanced from head proudly carried on strong neck, level topline to correctly set teapot tail. Has width between front legs, giving plenty of heartroom, well sprung ribs all wrapped up in the most glorious golden jacket. Propels himself around  the ring on sturdy legs and cushioned feet. Has that jaunty swagger, so typical of solids, as he sails off into the sunset. A joy to watch. Delighted to award him his 2nd CC.
2nd: 5666 CROSSLEY, Mr David & CROSSLEY, Mrs Susan Santosha Night Shade. 23 months B/W. Commands attention the moment he enters the ring. Good width of skull, cushioned muzzle, ex mouth and chin. Carries his head proudly on strong neck, keeps level topline in profile and on the move. Strong bone, ex front and drives off well defined, muscular hindquaters. Presented in immacculate condition and handled to advantage.Prefered the softer expression of 1st.

1st: 5682 FINNANGER, Ms Hege Mari DK Ch SVCH Norsk Ch Fin Int Ch Hin Chen's Genesio.  4 years G/W. Broad skull, large, round, dark eyes, well spaced. tip tilted nose, cushioned muzzle, well defined chin. The most endearing, gentle yet masculine expression. Low to ground, correct proportions from withers to root of tail. A joy to go over and feel strong, mature bone and defined muscles. Presented in beautiful coat of correct texture. Moves at a steady pace covering the ground with ease, teapot tail held high, he has  forward reach and drive from angulated hindquaters showing full pads. RCC.

2nd: 5685 FLACK, Mrs M & HALS, Ms AnnKi Ch Multi Ch Mifcah's The King And I Jw JW . At 6 years this G/W male is in his prime, excells in head and expression, broad skull, well spaced, dark, round eyes, broad muzzle, arrogant, superior to mere mortals attitude. Head framed by full furnishings. Strong, sturdy bone, plenty of rib, head to teapot tail carriage giving a balanced outline. Moves with style and arrogance, forward reach and powerful drive from strong hindquaters.  Presented in full coat of correct texture. A size up from 1st.

1st: 5688 GARDNER, Mrs Kerry Ethelsmead True Grit. 3 year old G/W, placed 3rd in limit, has taken his time maturing. Masculine expression without any hint of coarseness, dark, inquisitive eyes. Well sprung ribs, plenty of heartroom, keeps level topline, would like a little more lift to tail. 
2nd: 5662 BRYANT, Ms Amanda Middletune Billy The Kid . 3 years black mask solid gold, has the most appealing expression, good width of skull, well spaced, dark , round eyes, ex nose placement, wide muzzle, well defined chin. Balanced outline, ample neck, correctly set teapot tail. Would like more rib, moves out with energy, needs more coat to complete the picture.
3rd: 5726 TOD, Ms K Ethelsmead Half A Sixpence At Kengai

1st: 5715 SHULVER, Miss Marcelle Shidizzle Quartzite Star Of Crimsonleash. BSB, placed 2nd in MP. Put up a great performance in the SB Group where he made the final cut of 5.
2nd: 5692 GIRARD, Mrs J Forepaws Golden Warrior. So much to like about this 6 year old G/W who placed vhc in limit. Stunning head, very masculine, strong well developed body in hard condition. Head to tail balance, level topline, coat of correct texture. Moves out with front extension, a little untidy rear action.
3rd: 5662 BRYANT, Ms Amanda Middletune Billy The Kid

1st: 5654 BALDWIN, Miss J Snowshoes Lady Penelope For Maili. 8 months Red Gold & White, immediately catches the eye with her immaculately  groomed profuse puppy coat. Beautiful head, width to skull, well spaced round dark eyes, correct nose placement, open nostrils, engaging expression. Stands firm on cushioned feet, strong boned legs. Barrel ribs, plenty of heartroom, level topline. Moves out with energy, has forward reach , shows full pads. Exciting prospect.
2nd: 5680 FINNANGER, Ms Hege Mari Hin Chen's Opal .6 months 1 day B/W. Very pretty baby, endearing expression, eyecatching coat pattern. Presented in excellent condition.
3rd: 5689 GARDNER, Mrs Kerry Shidizzle Mustang Sally

1st: 5683 FINNANGER, Ms Hege Mari World Eastfane's Jubilee Ballet Dancer. Just exquisite 11 months G/W Broad skull, well spaced, dark, round eyes that pierce deep into your soul. Correctly placed nose, ex pigment, ex mouth, defined chin. Perfectly balanced outline, head to heavily plumbed teapot tail, level topline, barrel ribs. Free easy mover with forward reach and drives off strong hindquaters showing full pads. Coat of correct texture, presented in immaculate condition , handled with empathy. A treasure who surely has a very promising show career to come. BP & RCC.
2nd: 5717 SMITH, Mrs J E & SMITH, Miss J Snowshoes Black Bettie. Love the expression on this 9 months solid black. Broad skull, good width between the most mischievous dark, round eyes, open nostrils, wide jaw, so well balanced, head proudly carried on strong neck in complete unison with correctly set teapot tail. Shows herself  off to advantage. Presented in full puppy coat, sympathetically handled. Looks the complete picture in profile, a little untidy in her hind action today. 
3rd: 5716 SMITH, Mr Mark & ALDOUS, Mr Richard Debeaux Devil In A Dress With Aranel

1st: 5684 FLACK, Mrs M Jun Ch Ger Jun Ch Lin Yin Von Heydpark Via Mifcah'. This 14 months pale G/W has immediate appeal for her head proportions, soft, warm eyes, tip to her nose, ex mouth. Balanced outline, level topline, correct tail set and carriage. Inbetween coats, what she has is of correct texture. A little reluctant at times moving, typical stubborn Shih Tzu mode, has good forward reach and drive from strong hindquaters when she decides to show herself off.
2nd: 5696 HERRING, Mrs Karen Susan & HERRING, Mr G & BAKER, Matsha Macaroon For Quingshui. Lots to like about this 12 months Brindle & White, very feminine, eyes sparkle , happy, outgoing attitude, barrel ribs, plenty of heartroom, well covered with profuse puppy coat. Head to tail balance, level topline. Presented in excellent condition. Would like a little more animation on the move.
3rd: 5732 WOOD, Mrs Hollie Densown Fanta Fizz To Ralphina

1st: 5730 WILLETT, Mr John & WILLETT, Mrs Debbie Juhua's I'm Not The Only One For Debeaux NAF TAF. 14 months Pale G & W, sweet expression, kind eye, carries her head with pride, strong neck, level topline, well covered body, strong bone. Left most of her clothes at home but what she has is of correct texture. Happy girl, moves with forward reach and positive drive from behind showing full pads.
2nd: 5660 BROWN, Mr S & Mrs S Rossvale's Got The Look. Jw. 22 months G/W , beautiful head , expression enhanced by the darkest, large, round well spaced eyes, ex nose placement, good width to jaw, defined chin. Balanced outline, level topline leading to correctly set tail which she carries well over her back. Low to ground, beautifully conditioned coat. Moves out with forward reach, not so positive behind as 1st.

1st: 5711 RUTTER, Mrs J Ethelsmead Love Kennedy. 2 years G/W, very pretty, large dark eyes, ex pigment, defined chin. Presents a balanced outline, level topline, correct tailset and carriage. Beautifully conditioned coat of correct texture. Sadly she let's herself down on the move, has reach and drive when she decides to co-operate with her very patient handler.
2nd: 5698 HISCOCK, Mrs & Mr L A Ethelsmead Working Girl At Shidizzle. 3 years Rich Gold & White, appealing expression enhanced by large dark eyes. Slowly maturing into a very nice bitch, still needs to fill out and come into full coat, what she has is of correct texture, presented with care and handled with empathy, happy mover.
3rd: 5709 POPE & SMITH, Ms & Mrs E M & L A Shidizzle Bryamzy Sue At Maskeen

Broad skull, large, dark, well spaced eyes, ex pigment, wide jaw, defined chin. Proud head carriage, level topline, would like more lift to tail. Well covered body, in hard, muscular condition. Has a more shapely look to her now in adult coat of correct texture. Moves at a fair pace with forward reach and powerful drive giving the best kick up of the day.
2nd: 5687 GALLIFORD, Miss Sharon Sassyshi Cake By The Ocean With Shirkeira JW. Ultra feminine nearly 3 years old Gold Brindle & White. Dark, large, round sparkling eyes, ex pigment, cushioned muzzle, defined chin. Balanced outline, head proudly carried on strong neck, in perfect balance with correctly set teapot tail. Presented in beautiful coat and condition, moves with confidence and purpose.
3rd: 5665 COUPLAND, Ms Mandy Violet Tzusweet Black Pearl

1st: 5676 DYKER, Mrs K Ch Thaisu Fallen Angel Among Kimevan.Just love this 3 year old G/W. She has matured into a very beautiful bitch who on the day had everything i was looking for. She looks the full package, from the moment she entered the ring and doesn't disappoint on the table. The most beautiful head, dark, well spaced, inquisitive eyes, slight tip to her nose, ex pigment, wide jaw, cushioned muzzle, determined chin. Perfectly balanced outline, barrel ribs, plenty of heartroom, level topline in stance and on the move, correctly set , well plumed teapot tail, the best of the day. Profuse quality coat, presented in immacculate condition. Carries herself with grace and elegance, circles the ring with an arrogant air of importance, has forward reach and drive from well muscled hindquaters. Definately on a mission which took her to BOB over her litter brother. CC & BOB.    

 2nd:5702 HOWARD, Miss H L Tameron Miss Ruby Orchid  Paler G/W, 22 months, exquisite expression, dark sparkling eyes that draw you in and hold on tight ! Broad skull, ex pigment, cushioned muzzle, defined chin. Strong bone, barrel ribs under a profuse quality coat, presented to the highest standard. A joy to watch on the move with head held high, full of confidence and arrogance, scores in her powerful hind action, showing full pads.

1st: 5686 FORBES, Mrs Yvonne Ch Paliden Bucks Fizz To Ekland JW. 8 years Black Mask Solid Gold, has that 0h so special aloof, superior attitude that i consider particular to solids, broad skull, full dark eyes, slight tip to nose, you can almost feel the fire coming from her nostrils , asserting her superior to “mere mortals” attitude. Proud head carriage on strong neck, level topline, correctly set and carried heavily plumed tail. Stands proud on strong boned legs and cushioned feet. Quality coat of correct texture, groomed to perfection. Covers the ground with style and grace. BV.

2nd: 5673 DEVINE, Mrs Marjorie Tansingh Color Me Beautiful For Mirazian JW. A privilge to have the opportunity to go over this 15 year old G/W. Beautiful head and expression enhanced by large, round, dark eyes, giving a warm, intelligent glow. Balanced outline of correct proportions, teapot tail, in excellent body condition, topped off with a profuse, lovingly groomed coat of correct texture. Covers the ground at “her” pace with dignity. Handled with empathy.

1st: 5665 COUPLAND, Ms Mandy Violet Tzusweet Black Pearl. 4 years solid black placed 3rd in limit. Have to get up very close and personel to appreciate just how pretty she  is. Broad skull, full, round dark eyes glowing with intelligence, correctly placed nose with large open nostrils. Balanced outline, plenty of rib and heartroom, strong bone, in ex body condition, carries a very profuse double coat. Steady mover.


Class 2166 SBB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5689 GARDNER, Mrs Kerry Shidizzle Mustang Sally. Very pretty 8 months G/W who placed 3rd in MP. Large dark eyes, warm, quizzical expression, ex pigment, broad jaw, defined chin. Liked her overall balance, happy temperment, shows lots of promise for the future. Coat presentation needs more work.
