My thanks to all the very sporting exhibitors who showed under me today, Japanese Spitz is one of my most favourite breeds to judge and if I may I would like to make some observations of my entry today.  I was very disappointed with a few areas, eye shape , short muzzles, front and rear angulations.  The Jap Spitz eye is a beautiful thing, and should be oval in shape not round, it is placed obliquely not front facing, and when it is correct is a joy to look at.   Short forefaces are not correct for this breed, they may look “cute” but they are wrong.   Movement today was the worst I have ever seen in this lovely breed, some of which could have been corrected if the dogs had muscle.  Muscle is so important for movement, and I struggled to find it today.

1st: 5251 DICKSON, Mrs S L Kessaku I Predict A Riot In Bernavia, well made , 9 months, liked his shape and outline, nicely made in head for age, correct ear shape and placement, great oval, dark eye, he has a good front, but was rather unsettled today.  BPIB
2nd: 5256 FURSE, Miss K & SERBU-NIXON, Mrs D Loveliwithy May Day, very similar in size and type, but a bit behind in head development yet, in great coat.
3rd: 5249 CHURCH, Mrs Tanya Sanyinko Natsu Taiyo

2nd: 5246 BLISS, Mrs Stephanie Belzbentley Aussie Pride With Charney (aus Imp)naf liked his size, good neat body and excellent tail, well made in head, ear and eye, bit loose in front yet, but he has time.
3rd: 5281 TURNER, Mrs & Mr D & P Mayumi's Tsuyoshi


Class 1965 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5280 TURNER, Mrs & Mr D & P Daryl Bella Neve For Mayumi (imp Ukr) 17 months, well up for size , nice oval eye shape, in super coat but was not on his best behaviour today and very unsettled.


Class 1966 PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5271 ROPER, Mrs Avril Kessaku Bugatti For Tokosha right for size, shape and outline, such a well balanced head, well boned , level topline and well placed tail.


Class 1967 LD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5284 WARRINGTON, Miss C L Sakkaku Cloud Dream Weaver, scored in head, lovely dark oval eye and his correct small triangular ears, very precise in front, well ribbed and correct tail set and carrige. 
2nd: 5244 BLISS, Mrs Stephanie Charney Mr Marvellous, better size for me, and liked his balanced skull and muzzle, good expression, and sound rear angulation, but today his front movement let him down.
3rd: 5240 ASTON, Mr R & ASTON, mrs K & BOWEN, mrs A Charney Talk Of The Town At Glamglow


Class 1968 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5279 TURNER, Mrs & Mr D & P Mayumi's Rough Diamond, really smart and very typical male with a superb white stand off coat, he is just correct for size and substance.  His head is balanced , with correctly placed small triangular ears, great black pigmentation, lovey soft expression from his oval obliquely set eyes. he has a forechest, correctly made moderate sloping shoulder, balanced upper arm, neat cat feet, deep and broad chest, well sprung lenghty ribs, and super strong short loin and we muscled rear, he is so sound and typical on the move , light, nimble and very smooth.   quality all through.  Dog CC & BOB
2nd: 5263 WARD, Mr Lee & WARD, Mrs June Ch Llwyni Rock N'roll Star JW,  very eye catching male with a super head shape, balanced in skull and muzzle, excellent ear shape, lovely dark eye and expression, correct for bone and neat cat feet.  Sslylish mover.  
3rd: 5241 BENOIST, Ms Annette Kumotta Elite


Class 1969 VD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5243 BLISS, Mrs Stephanie Ch Charney Tamotsu, 8 year old and still doing it for me, he is the right size and shape, with correct ear shape and size, beautiful oval obliquily set eyes, corrctly made in rib, top line and tail, and still with a short well muscled loin,  so correct in his movemnt, light easy and precise.  Res Dog CC.
2nd: 5274 STEVENSON-REYNOLDS, Mrs R Keagwyn Teddy Boy,  well made boy, with a grand head, ears and eye, sounf in body and enjoying himself.
3rd: 5282 WARREN, Ms S Kessaku Scooby Doo

1st: 5248 CHURCH, Mrs Tanya Sanyinko Natsu Ame only 6 months, liked her size and outline, pretty head with correct ear shape and sze, oval eye, neat feet and well made rib for her age, she is very promising but really needs more confidence in the ring.

1st: 5265 JONES, Miss L Llwyni Fancy That, 10 months, very neat and feminine, loved her head shape , eye and expression and ears correctly placed,

1st: 5245 BLISS, Mrs Stephanie Tawvale Gensho With Charney,  beautiful youngster with so much to like, scored in head, eye and ears, neck, topline and tail, well boned with neat cat feet, and when she got going was so very sound and precise in her movement, Res Bitch CC
2nd: 5253 FRASER, Miss L G Tawvale Gatusei,  very similar in type to winner and I am sure they will change places often, she is very feminine, right for size and has such a super coat, excellent rib, topline and tail.  stylish mover. 
3rd: 5247 CHURCH, Mrs Tanya Sanyinko Barton's Starlet

1st: 5260 GIBSON, Mrs A Kaiaki Angel Eyes JW,  really lovely bitch, good for size, substance and out line, well made head with balanced skull and muzzle,  dark oval eye and neat ears, she has a correctly made rib and level topline with a short strong loin and well made rear.   In good coat.
2nd: 5254 FRASER, Miss L G Tawvale Fumika, again very typical and good for size and substance, such a sweet expression, well balanced in head, correct top line and tail, and in good coat.
3rd: 5262 IZMIRLIEVA, Ms Milena & IZMIRLIEVA, Dr Maria & IZM Bellsperar Just Like Heaven

1st: 5255 FRASER, Miss L G Tawvale Lola, liked her type and out line, well made in body forechest, and rib, level top line, correctly placed and carried tail, feminine head with lovely oval dark eye and sweet epression.  In good coat.
2nd: 5268 PROUT, Mrs D Ferrybelle's Hocus Pocus For Kessaku, Another very good looking bitch with a super head shape and correct eye shape, soundly made in body and correct in tail, no coat today but a really lovely girl.
3rd: 5259 GIBSON, Mrs A Kaiaki Star Attraction

This was a top quality class with so many really beautiful and typical bitches, I was quite spoilt for choice
1st: 5269 PROUT, Mrs D Declamaro Mona Lisa For Kessaku (ikc) JW, Just so right for size and substance, her head is typical, balanced in skull and muzzle, great pigment, dark oval shaped eyes obliquely set, soft expression, neat small triangular ears, set just right, really well made in front, neck, top line and tail, deep rib and short strong loin.  Her outline both standing and on the move is so typical and she ia sound both ways, and pa pleasure to go over and watch moving.  Stunning girl in great coat too. 2nd: 5250 DICKSON, Mrs S L Cheechako Miss Mouse In Bernavia, another beautifully made bitch, in full coat, she excels in type and is just right for size and substance.  Great head, eye shape and colour, correct ear size and shape, good neck and front, so sound and typical on the move.
