Many thanks to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this years show. It was a busy show with a good atmosphere all around. Our ring todaywas a little draughty from the entrance doors and did prove a little distracting to some of the younger exhibits, but with no major effect and they took it in their stride when settled. It was a lovely entry with a good mixture of youth and maturre examples of this delightful breed. No issues were encountered for KC breed watch and temperaments were excellent.

Class 2582 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6682 JEFFERSON, Mrs Catherine Larelkie Celebration At Pemontell (IKC).

At just 6 months this black jacketed youngster was confident in the conditions and took it in his stride. Pleasing through head, with srength and strong dention and a dark eye. A little reluctant to use his ears at this stage. strong neck, ample bone, clean ribbing and a decent topline. He was sporting a thick puppy jacket. he moved well, covering the ground with good reach and drive.

Class 2584 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6676 HEALE, Miss Amy & DAVIES, Mr Steve Rhoderns Arbika Of Trelawneki. This 2 year old presented a smart outline and was put down in good condition. He had strength in head, with good jaw and dentition. clean through correct neck, well ribbed and a tidy croup and tailset. he had adequate body and bone and a strong rear assembly. he moved steadily, but would like more drive and reach to complete the picture.

Class 2586 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6688 RYAN, Mrs K F Flanagan The Troublemaker At Feorlig (imp Svk). A quality drop ear, he had strength in a head that was balanced and had the required power in jaw, with a good width of back skull, which isnt as easily evident in a drop. his ears were correct, large and dropping straight down with enough feathering. he had strength through neck, ok in front, clean level topline, strong loin and a clean croup and tailset. strong quarters and enough substance. Was of good size and balance when stacked. He was put down in good coat condition, held his topline on the move, where he covered the ground with puropose.  did enough to be awarded the CC, his first I believe.
2nd: 6683 LYNE, Mrs Julie Madaza Box Of Frogs. A drop ear who had a strong & balanced masculine head . He had a clean eye. Clean through neck, clean front assembly and well ribbed back. had a clean croup and tidy tail and set, which was carried well on the move. Not the topline of winner , but covered the ground well with drive and power from his strong rear assembly.

Class 2589 VD/B (4 Entries) Abs: 2

Two quality elder exhibits, with so much breed type and a pleasure to go over. It was difficult to split them. Both  still able to hold their own at this level. The bitch just took the class on overall shape, head carriage and side movement on the final send around.
1st: 6673 CURTIS, Mrs Jane Ch Verumamicus Aurora Of Brakemill JW OSW VW. A mature cream, who is top size, but ticks so many boxes. She has a well proportioned head, with strength of jaw and good bite. Her ears are well set, nicely fringed, used correctly to give the correct appearance and look. She is clean through body, has the required substance and bone.  Maintains a level topline standing and on the move. she moves out very well, covering the ground with a free stride.  A worthy champion who was put down in a good coat and condition. BRCC & BV.
2nd: 6689 SANDERSON, Mr N & SANDERSON, Mrs Lisa Ch Esgia Highland Laddie VW. A  masculine punishing head, balanced , dark eye, with well set ears which when he uses, givws a typical expression.  Please overall for size balance and type. Class 2591 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 6687 RYAN, Mrs K F Feorlig No Good Deed. Well this youngster took my eye as soon as i got out of my chair. What a fantastic picture stacked, quality throughout, everything I was looking for. No doubting she was a bitch, so feminine, elegant, with a fantastic reach of crested neck, falling into a straight topline, clean croup and tailset.  she was balanced, low and met the 2:1 ratio. Her jacket so well prepared straight  flat and not overdone. On the table she did not disappoint, head balanced, feminine but with enough strength. Good dention, dark sparkling eye, big black nose and well set ears, which were used constantly. she had that look. what a neck, long and leading into a well made front assembly. straight strong topline, correct ribbing and a rear that is developing well, with strength, strong quarters andcorrect angulation. stood on tidy feet. free on the move, maintaining her topline and covering the ground well.  fully deserving the CC & BOB. im sure this will be the first of many as she matures further.
