  •  *not sure why this did not  reach the print when it was written  along with my other two breeds from the show 2 weeks later …..my apologies to any exhibitor's who have been waiting on this critique

I was very much looking forward to this appointment one of my favourite breeds to judge . I found the dept of quality very much improved since the last time i judged them. I found overall temperaments very good, most dogs presented in excellent condition. Delighted to have a decent size ring to correctly assess the dogs on the move especially side gait. Something to watch length of leg as both short / long legs  spoil the overall balance of the dog .

Thank you exhibitors for such a lovely entry

This puppy certainly on the right track . Mature for age, head is well balanced , dark eye . Correct  outline , standing on good feet. Excellent character. In wondeful coat and condition . He really excelled himself on the move for a baby and pulled off a very polished performance to win Best Puppy dog / Best Puppy

2nd: 949 WILTSHIRE, Miss Donna & ROGERS, Mr Mark Caleykiz Ignite The Passion.

A raw baby as they should be at 6m, handler worked hard and this baby did well . A nice style , good for size

and jet back coat beautifully presented .  Steady on the move but i would just like tighter feet .

I was really taken with this young male and feel very exciting things are yet to come when fully mature. His head is so clean , strong  underjaw with good teeth. Well placed and used ears, correct eye shape ,colour and placement. He really appealed overall in outline . Standing on good feet  , long tail well carried. He really excelled  on the move , so very sound in all directions . His condition and coat put down to the minute , excellent character . He was   so well handled making it all about the dog  and he really shone in the Pastoral group getting a well deserved shortlist .  DCC & BOB

I really liked the style of this dog ,  standing he presents a well balanced outline . Enough neck but i would like a little more strength in rear .  Coat and condition excellent and well handled .

A very nice style of male who pulled off a great performance to win this class. Spot on for size and substance and has a very appealing outline  . He is in  excellent body and coat condition. Moved soundly in all directions. Head well balanced but teeth could be in better condition
2nd: 920 MITCHELL, Mrs K Bordabears Strike It Hot

Similar style to my winner . A male correct for size and fully mature and presented in top order . He moved steady and true in all directions but i would like a little more strength in his front pasterns . Handler needs to watch as he can stand a little untidy in rear.

Pushed all the way in good company to pick up the RCC

No denying his gender, all male without being overdone .  Super clean head, excellent pigment with good lip line . Correct eye shape , well placed ears giving a alert expression .  Moved very soundly with correct tail set.  On the stack he was standing a little untidy which cost him a higher place

1st: 917 MILHAM, Mrs Kathryn Elystari Million Dreams. A delighful baby , already so beautifully trained giving her all not only to win this class but two . Very nice style , correct for size and substance at this stage of development . Very steady on the move , maybe a touch bum high but this will settle as she matures . Loved her head , excellent pigment and well placed ears . Im sure your going to have alot of fun just needs to watch that tail set .
2nd: 944 WARREN, Ms Lacey Leanne Bordabears True Deception. A different style to my winner and still quite raw compared to my winner but a baby she has time on her side . My preference would be for a touch more substance but overall she did all that she was asked .

This exhibitors dogs are all  fit  , coat condition and presentation on point .  This young bitch so well schooled easy to see she has put the work in and it showed.  Very flashy markings ,  the white may not appeal to some  but her pigment is excellent and it certainly did not distract from her overall quality  . Effortless movement .

2nd: 925 MURFET, Mrs Helen & OLIVER, DR Amanda Tambuzi Guess Who's Back JW

My suprise of the day , she kept catching my eye even when relaxed she stood foot perfect, alert and i loved her energy.  Her head so well balanced , strong underjaw with tight lip line , excellent pigment . Her eye shape correct with well placed ears . So alert and attentive to her owner .  Came into her own on the move and pushed hard right to the end . In the final run off against some top quality bitches she just popped out , so correct and today was her day . She was in top form and without hesitation i was delighted to award her BCC / RB0B

This was a outstanding class that needed a cut for another look. This bitch has so much quality and really shone in this lineup. Full of breed type and very correct in construction and breed type .
