I was sincerely looking forward to this appointment, my first time awarding CC’s in this breed, a breed I have admired and been interested in for many years.

Thanks to those exhibitors who attended and took my placings with apparent good sportsmanship.

I was slightly disappointed there were a few absent, but a week day never helps.

black and white, just 6 months, a little weary to start with but with some kind handling and gentle persuasion he let me go over him, i discovered he was ideally proportion in skull, with a good skull/ muzzle ration and was wide enough for age, his ears were set on correctly and he has a furrow, dark eyes and a correct bite. his thick neck ran into a good shoulder placement, in turn running down to straight, well boned front legs and good feet with a gentle slope in pastern, his chest was good and he has a good ribcage from where his correct body proportions come, his loin is  short and he has a good croup. his rear is correct with well let down hocks which are parallel when viewed from behind, a good turn of stifle and is sound, on the move he keeps his shape, head slightly down and looks purposeful, he is true and sound all ways. despite his initial apprehensive start he certainly did enough to impress and in the challenge i gave him the nod fo the reserve cc

Loved this black and white for type, size and outline, his head is masculine, has good width of skull, well set ears and is correct in proportions in terms of skull to muzzle ratio,  he has a dark eye and good pigment. he was reluctant to let me assess him but his handler showed teeth which were correct, we persevered and with hands on, i found him to be solid, cobby, well boned and short coupled, again, his correct body shape coming from a short loin and being well ribbed back. his front was straight with good feet, he has a deep chest with sufficient width, his rear is muscular and firm with a well turned stifle, low hocks and a parallel rear, slight slop to croup and a correct tail set, his coat is correctly distributed and of a good texture and well presented, he moves soundly when he puts his mind to it, but we gave him several goes in order to see enough. i felt his type was just what i was looking for and despite his reluctance to put all in on the move, i saw enough to be happy to award him the cc.

excellent size, 2 years dressed in a harsh black and white coat, i liked his head which in detail featured dark eyes, a good ear set and size and ample width in skull, he has a furrow and a good muzzle with correct bite. good pigment.

his front was straight but to nit pick i feel his shoulders could be a tad more laid back for absolute balance, his chest was good and he has good width over loin, good turn of stifle and firm rear, topline runs up ever so slightly and would prefer freer more fluid movement.

loved this girl and i felt she was ultra feminine, small, cobby with excellent bone and substance for her size, she had a pretty expression, with her lovely eyes and muzzle which was of correct length, beautiful neck and shoulder, with agood return of upper arm, firm feet , good chest both depth and width, good ribs and short coupled, excellent topline and croup, good well angled rear, low hocks and stands perfectly parallel. sound, free and somewhat elegant on the move and returning to an accurate foot placement after her go around. dressed in a black and white jacket of good texture and presented to advantage, liked her very much, i was impressed to see her titles when filling out the reserve cc and wish her well for the completion of her U.K Title to go with the rest.

Great class of 4 nice girls,

1st: 1313 WARWICK, Miss Julie Ann & WILKINS, Mr Michael Mybeards Sprinkle

what a gorgeous puppy, absolutely beautiful in terms of expression, shape, make, type and size, nothing i would change, like more of, less of etc.

she has a feminine outlook and the most beautiful eyes which were dark and correctly shaped, her muzzle is good and is proportionate to her skull, she has a furrow and enough width in keeping with her sex,  her front assembly is ideal, with a well laid shoulder, straight, well boned front and neat feet with slightly sloping pasterns, tight elbows and a good chest, her topline is excellent and her rear is firm, well angulated and matches the front to give a harmony of natural balance, cobby and with a good width of croup and with a very slight slope to tail. she stands parallel and moves with a free clean action during which she keeps her shape, head lowered ever so slightly and is sound and true in all directions. attentive and keen to please she gave a sterling performance and was duly awarded the CC and later in challenge Best of Breed. i was told afterwards this was her 2nd CC, here's to the 3rd and many more. pleased to see her shortlisted in the puppy group.
2nd: 1300 HEAVENS, Ms. Sara Ponitaspring's Abbey Road

fractionally smaller with very much to like, super head and skull, with good pigment and dark eyes, super quality all through with excellent width over wither and croup, tight elbows and good ribs, her rear was sound and well angulated and therefore she was ideal for balance. liked her very much and she moved out soundly

black and white puppy with as yet slightly less coat, no matter as everything underneath was ideal so when her coat comes it will be the icing on the very well made cake.

she is just right for size and shape, feminine with a lovely eye and skull, good ears and enough width.

she has a good straight front, good ribs but maybe a little more spring wouldn't go amiss, hopefully with maturity that will come naturally, just to give a bit more width.

well laid shoulders and a well turned stifle offer that good overall balance, she moves out soundly with a good firm rear, holding a good shape.
