From the group I also  shortlisted the, BDF, CED, PWD, Siberian Husky and the Boxer, these were serious contenders for Group placings today too.

BEST : 110 ROBERTS, Mr & Mrs C & J - Ch. Ir Ch. Joybull Mister Bossman - BULLMASTIFF – Dog 3 yrs. old Masculine Brindle lad, totally unfazed by the heat and expertly handled. Super head, width to skull and depth to muzzle and strength to underjaw and bite, with kind gentle expression of eye with excellent pigment well-fitting lids. Strength to neck deep in brisket and width to chest with good fit to elbows with well-muscled body and thighs stands on good feet and pasterns, can cover the ground with ease retaining shape and balance, could do the job he was bred for, fit for function. 
RESERVE : 132 BRANNAN, Mrs Karen & MYCROFT, MRS SUSAN - Ch. Supetas Boys Are Back In Town JW - DOBERMANN – Dog 2 ½ yrs. Br/Rust.  Well boned square stallion of a lad on the stand. Good wedge shape to head and flat skull, good strength to muzzle and dentition. Clean neck, well placed front assembly good fore chest tidy elbows, firm loins and muscling to thighs sound hocks. Moved at pace to get the best out of him with such a balanced powerful ground covering action.
3rd : 209 CHAPPELL, Ms & Mr Lesley & Adam - Casaarabal's Freyja Selmalda - GREAT DANE – Bitch.  Fawn Feminine elegant silhouette on the stand still only junior and will have an excellent future ahead. Super head proportions and ratios and stop, muzzle has depth good bite and tidy flews with good mask, eye dark well fitted lids. Clean neck well laid shoulders and chest has depth and well-fitting elbows. Stands on good tight feet. Firm in loins and tidy underline. Good rear assembly croup tail set and carriage low hocks, moved out with a graceful balanced fluid ground cover. Hope third CC comes soon.
4th : 264 WEAVER, Mrs Susan Kaye & WEAVER, Mr Michael - Ch. Simden Maida Girl Like You - LEONBERGER – Bitch Almost 3 yrs. Presented in quality jacket. Lovely head ratios, dark oval eye well-fitting lids and pigment, strength to jaws and good dentition. Nice arch to neck well laid in shoulders. Brisket is deep, with good length to leg approx. equal tidy in elbow and good tight feet. Firm top line broad loins well-muscled thighs moved with good reach and drive around the ring at pace.
