I would like to thank the committee of The National Dog Show for inviting me to judge and for the kind hospitality. I was very pleased with the quality of the dogs. I saw a big improvement with hind angulation as well as improvement of eyes. All the dogs moved soundly. A minor point for exhibitors going forward with regards to ringcraft and ring etiquette is that Mastiffs are required to stand side on to show full body profile.
MPD
1. Graham - Savarow Adonis At Odextin .Fawn of just 6 months old and first show. Pleasing head shape with good pigment. A very dark clear eye. Lovely expression. Good reach of neck going to a straight topline with a good length of body. Good bone with lovely tight feet. Showing great hind angulation. Confident and moved with ease. Enjoyed his day.
2. Chell - Savarow Alolan. Brindle brother to 1. Very nice puppy showing the same attributes to his brother. Also had a lovely temperament enjoying his day and did everything his handler asked of him.
PD.
- 1. Harris - Quincy Of Seven Oaks (IMP DEU). This 10 month old fawn puppy caught my eye. Very well developed for age. He has size and substance with super length of body. Excellent bone set on tight feet. Wide chest. Head is developing nicely with good width in skull. Stop is good. Wide clean muzzle. Dark eyes and dark pigment. Good rear angulation and moved very well. Great future potential and on the day was a strong contender for the RCC. Awarded Best Puppy.
- JD.
- 1. Zadeh - Suncamo Kayden with Faynad. A quality fawn of super type. Loved his head. Has the darkest of pigment. Correct set ears. Not too much wrinkle. Good stop with a square clean muzzle. Good depth and width of chest. Excellent bone on tight feet. Well placed shoulders with good spring of rib. Moved with drive. I would prefer slightly longer back. Pleased to award RCC.
- 2. Bowdery - Suncamo Klarence by Morganlefay. Fawn litter brother to 1st but completely different. Smaller in stature and substance. Pleasing head. Nice neck and front. Bone is ok. Little down on pasterns and needs to develop stronger rear end. Moved ok. Coat was not in show condition today.
- PGD.

Abrupt stop with a short square muzzle. Deep chest and body of super length with a lovely topline. Excellent bone on large tight feet. Well muscled and angulated rear making a balanced body profile. Wish he had moved with more enthusiasm on the day as worthy of top honours.
