I would like to thank the commitee for inviting me to judge at this show and my stewards for ensuring the smooth running of the ring. Thanks must also go to the exhibitors for entering their dogs. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day with some difficult decisions to make.

B/T of 2 years. Liked his size and shape. Head almost flat between ears which were well set with long feathering. pleasant expression and correct dentition. Nicely put together with the best front assembly of the class. Moved well. Would benefit from a smoother coat as currently a bit unruly.

I had admired this 7 month old ruby from the ringside and was pleased to have the opportunity to go over him. He did not disapoint. Nice size, well balanced, excellent neck and shoulder placement leading to a level topline and well carried tail. Good angulations throughout, enabling him to move expertly around the ring, totally at one with his handler. Whilst his head has some maturing to do (I would expect nothing else at this age), he has large dark eyes and pigment. The look is finished off with a smooth silky coat of good colour. I predict a bright future. BPD and with the agreement of my co judge BPIB. I was thrilled to see that he later went Puppy group 4. Well done, a credit to you.

Another ruby that had previously caught my eye. Excellent size and so well balanced in profile. Good head with large dark eyes and pigment giving a sweet expression. Correct length of muzzle and good dentition. Well put together with excellent top line and tail set. The way he moves around the ring makes it impossible to ignore him. Such style and glamour coupled with soundness. Expertly presented. A pleasure to award him RCC

1st: 7492 SEARLE, Mrs D Stonepit Into The Blue
Well coated bl of 18 months. Correct head and muzzle with large dark eye and correctly set ears that he used well. Nice size, although I would prefer a slightly longer leg for balance. That said, he has a lovely reach of neck, with well laid shoulders, giving the best front assembly in this class. Level topline and good turn of stifle . Moved with drive.
2nd: 7483 RATHBONE, Dr Emma & PAL, Dr Sudipta Brymarden Flawless Blush
At first glance, I thought this would be my class winner. Lovely boy with rich coat who was well presented and immediately caught me eye. Nice head and expression, Excellent for size and balance , level topline, good tail set and carraige and moved well. On examination, just couldnt match 1 for length of neck. Nonetheless a quality dog who will, I'm sure, do very well.

Sound bl boy of 2 years. Skull almost flat between well set ears that were well featherd. Large dark eye and good pigment. pleasant expression. Good for size and balance with correct angulations throughout. Moved with reach and drive. Another who's correct topline could be misinterpreted due to a few wayward strands of hair on the day. A nice dog.
2nd: 7421 HAMILTON & HOGG, Mrs & Mr Fiona And Douglas Kringleholme Continental
Well broken larger Blenheim with large dark eyes and well filled muzzle of correct length. Nicely put together and came into his own on the move, dispalying soundness and elegance.

1st: 7479 OWEN, Mrs M Hansowens Star Of India Narayden
Loved the overall size, shape and balance of this b/t boy who is well put together with good angulations front and back . Moved true, both coming and going and held a level topline . Looks really good in profile with his profuse coat finishing the picture. His head does not meet my interpretation of the breed standard, but he could be a useful stud dog.
2nd: 7464 MACKENZIE, Mrs C Carsan Hot An Tasty JW

Blenheim with a forward face marking. However this does not affect his pleasant expression. Nice size, Good rear angulations, Had a tendancy to drop his head on the move which affected his topline,
