I would like to thank the Officers and committee of Manchester for inviting me to judge this breed which has been a part of my life for nearly thirty years and still is today.

I enjoyed my day and was lucky to have some super examples of the breed, if there is one concern that I have for the breed it's the fact that a high tail carriage appears to becoming the norm when the standard clearly states “When moving carried horizontally”.

Class 931 SBD (6 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2430 LITTLER, Mrs J & LITTLER, Mr J Apolwoodwin Moonshine - Young dog who has a balanced head, clean neck into well laid shoulders, straight forelegs deep and level topline, moderate rear angulation with hocks well let down. Moved soundly but would prefer a better tail carriage.
2nd: 2434 MELLISH, Mrs Shamaine Vizslanya Vulkani Jw - Masculine head dog with wide skull, slightly heavier set than the first, shown in muscular condition, deep chest, well sprung ribs, level topline and muscular croup. Moved true but would prefer a better tail carriage.

1st: 2456 UNDERDOWN, Mr David Kandymal Sweet William At Baratja - Overall shape good, not the masculine of heads, would prefer better length of neck, straight forelegs with strong pasterns, deep chest with good spring of ribs, level topline, moderate rear angulation. Moved well from all angles.
2nd: 2447 RYMAN, Mrs J Kozel Nuyers Umbra - 8 months old who never really settled on the move today, head balanced but he just lacks width to his muzzle but I’m sure this will improve as he matures. Straight forelegs with strong pasterns, well sprung ribs and moderate rear angulation.

Class 933 PD (9 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 2398 CHALLIS, Mr S & CHALLIS, Mrs K M Vizslanya Sarkany - Super outline on this young dog, who has a balanced masculine head, muscular neck into well laid back shoulders, he has straight forelegs with strong pastern standing on cat like feet. Deep chest with well sprung ribs and level topline and muscular hindquarters. Moved well with good reach and drive and correct tail carriage BPIB.
2nd: 2390 CARTER, Mrs D Lindenwood Cast A Spell - Slightly smaller framed dog than the first, with a balanced head with moderate stop, neck long, well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs with tight elbows, well sprung ribs and slight tuck up. Would prefer slightly more hindquarter angulation. Moved well from all angles.

2nd: 2458 WALKER, Ms Judy & SMITH, Mr Leigh Butterfly Hunter Cosmopolitan - Third in puppy, this dog had a masculine balanced head, clean neck, straight forelegs with strong pasterns and prominent breastbone. Well sprung ribs and and strong loin leading to moderately angulated hindquarters. On the move he was balanced but I would prefer a better tail carriage.

Class 935 PGD (10 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2466 WATSON, Mr P Oakswarren Trickster - Young dog who didn’t appear to be enjoying his day yet still managed to do enough to win this class. Masculine balanced head, straight forelegs standing on cat like feet and strong pasterns, deep chest with well sprung ribs and level topline, slight tuck up and well muscled hindquarters. Moved well with a driving action from his hindquarters.
2nd: 2437 MURRAY, Miss C & PARKER, Mr W Szelkiraly's Foolproof JW - More rangier than the first and longer in body. Masculine head, clean muscular neck into well laid back shoulders. Straight forelegs, would like stronger pasterns, moderately angulated well muscled hindquarters. Moved well in all directions.

1st: 2420 HARPER, Mr J P & HARPER, MRS E J Pitswarren Tempus Viator (ai) JW - Well constructed masculine dog shown in hard condition, muscular clean neck into well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs standing on good feet and strong pasterns, prominent breast bone, deep chest and well sprung ribs, level topline and moderate turn od stifle. Moved with enthusiasm and excelled in profile but I would prefer a better tail carriage.   
2nd: 2426 HUGHES, Mrs E & Mr J & TULLOCH, Mrs Sarah Listerlo Mr Magoo - Dog who on the moved could not be better in profile and away and back. His skull was moderately wide with sufficient stop but I would like a bit more shape to his muzzle. Clean neck, straight forelegs, pasterns sloping, deep chest and good spring of ribs. Moderate turn of stifle and hocks well let down.

1st: 2464 WATKINS, Ms Tereza & KAIN, Mrs S Sh Ch Kincsem Break Every Rule JW - What a super class full of type and quality and on another day places could change. Finishing on top today this dog presented a balanced picture both stacked and on the move. He has a masculine lean and noble head with enough width, clean muscular neck leading into well laid back shoulders, broad chest, good spring of ribs, level topline and slight tuck up. Width to his well muscled hindquarters and well let down hocks. On the move he came alive moving with reach and drive and true away and back. Could not deny him CC and BOB.
2nd: 2389 BRADLEY, Ms Elaine M Sh Ch Highforce All Or Nothing JW ShCEx OSW - Unlucky to meet the first on such good form, this dog was shown in hard muscular condition, a super masculine head, clean neck into well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs standing on good feet and strong pasterns. Deep chest and good spring of ribs, level topline with strong loin, enough turn of stifle. Another who moved with good reach and drive but today I just preferred the strength behind of the winner. 1st: 2402 CLUBB, Mrs Donna & MASON, Mrs Catherine & FINDLAY, Sh Ch Oroshaza Chukar Cw - Apart from going slightly grey in muzzle you would not know this dog was over ten years old, he moved with such enthusiasm around the ring and shown in excellent condition. Head balanced throughout, neck long and muscular leading to well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs with strong pasterns, level back and well muscled rear angulation with hocks well let down.  Just couldn't contain his enthusiasm in the best veteran challenge
2nd: 2391 CHALLIS, Mr S & CHALLIS, Mrs K M Highforce Future Legend For Vizslanya JW ShCEx VW - Just a year younger than the first but enthusiasm in equal quantities! Masculine head, well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs but not the pasterns of the first. Deep chest with prominent breast bone, well sprung ribs and level topline. Shown in hard condition and moved well in profile and away and back.

1st: 2427 JONES, Miss Victoria & JONES, Miss Shelby Silvestre Wednesday - Very feminine bitch with a balanced head and she presented a pleasing picture stacked. She has nothing overdone, clean neck, well laid back shoulders and straight forelegs and strong pasterns. Level topline and good spring of ribs with slight tuck up and moderate hindquarters. She moved with enthusiasm and was true away and back.
2nd: 2413 GAMMON, Ms Caroline Margaret Martgarian Zantara - Preferred the overall outline of the class winner. This young girl has a balanced head, well laid back shoulders and straight forelegs, deep chest and well sprung ribs, would prefer slightly more turn of stifle. Moved true.

1st: 2463 WARNER, Mrs Rachel Nordicfield Lady Jaeger - Like the shape of this young bitch who is feminine in every way. She has a balanced head, angulation correct front and rear, standing on good feet with strong pasterns, prominent breast bone. Moderate hind angulation and she moved true with good tail carriage.

1st: 2454 TRUSOV, Mr Oleg Silvestre Party Girl (bc1) - Just loved the overall shape and size of this young girl who was also the best mover in the class with good tail carriage. Nothing overdone and balanced throughout. Femine head with kind expression, clean neck well laid back shoulders, enough depth to her chest for her age and level topline. BPB but just didn’t perform in the BP challenge.
2nd: 2460 WARD, Miss C M & HARRISON, Mrs Honor & HARRISON, M Glenbrows Blush At Tantaraviz - Up to size bitch who just lacked the femininity of the first. Head balanced, clean neck into well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs standing on good feet and strong pasterns. Depth to her chest and well sprung ribs with moderate well muscled hindquarters. On the move she used her hindquarters to give good drive and was true coming and going.

On the move she was true but I would prefer a better tail carrtiage.

Full of breed type, loved her size and overall shape and balance exactly what I was looking for in a bitch. She has the most feminine of heads with a kind expression, clean neck, well laid back shoulders and depth to her chest, straight forelegs, if I was picky I would prefer stronger pasterns, level topline slight tuck up and strong loin, moderate muscular hindquarters. On the move she moved with good reach and drive with correct tail carriage. Pushed hard for the ticket but gave her handler a hard time. RCC
2nd: 2419 HARDY, Mrs D & PHILLIPS, Mrs Elizabeth Nevedith Golden Reign At Szelfuto JW - Another bitch who was full of breed type but gave her handler a hard time today. Loved her size, nothing overdone in any way. She has a feminine balanced head, well laid back shoulders enough depth to her chest and well sprung ribs, she stands on straight forelegs and strong pasterns moderate muscular hindquarters. On the move she was true from all angles and held her tail well.

1st: 2422 SCOURFIELD, Mr A & KANTOR, Mr B & WARD, Ms C Glenbrows Roulette At Danton - This strong class was headed by this young bitch who presented a balanced overall picture both stacked and on the move where she moved with good reach and drive and was true coming and going. Super front construction, straight forelegs and strong pasterns, deep chest and well sprung ribs, level topline with slight tuck up. Hindquarters were wide and muscular.
2nd: 2400 CLUBB, Mrs Donna & MASON, Mrs Catherine Oroshaza Bumble Beee JW - This is a bitch that I could have happily taken home, she is full of breed type, of the correct size and shown in a muscular condition. Unfortunately, she was not really enjoying her day and struggled to lift her tail whilst on the move if she had continuously she would have certainly been in the running for the cards. Loved her feminine head, muscular neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chest with well sprung ribs and slight tuck up. Moderate turn of stifle and hocks well led down.

Feminine head with kind expression, well constructed front standing on straight forelegs and neat cat like feet and strong pasterns. She has enough depth to her chest. well sprung ribs and level topline. Muscular hindquarters and hocks well let down. Very happy to award her the CC.
2nd: 2429 LAYTON, Mr S Sh Ch Layways Cinnamon Girl - This bitch was slightly longer than the first yet still presented a balance picture but for me today she lacked a bit of condition. Head balanced, neck long and clean with prominent breast bone, straight forelegs and strong pasterns. Well laid back shoulders and good spring of ribs strong loin. More rear angulation than the first.

Moved so true from all angles and carrying her tail correctly. Loved her femininity, head balanced throughout, neck long and muscular leading to well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs with strong pasterns, back level and well muscled, good rear angulation with hocks well let down. 2nd: 2399 CLUBB, Mrs Donna & MASON, Mrs Catherine Oroshaza Lucy Locket - Another super example of the breed from this kennel who was unfortunate to meet the winner today. Super size full of breed type, feminine balanced head, angulation correct front and rear, strong pasterns , good spring of rib and shown in a muscular condition. She moved with purpose but just lacked the tail carriage of the winner.
