Judging: Papillon, Toy Group

I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge my favourite breed.  Thanks also to my two wonderful stewards.  It was sad to see too many thin papillons plus where has the mischievous sparkle gone from their eyes ??? I was pleased with my winners I had some lovely dogs.

MPD 7 (2) 1st Ms D Olof Tarnock Love In Paris.  What a delight. Very handsome Tri full of bounce correct head with a good stop and dentition, coat coming in nicely, ears rounded and well fringed, movement light and flowing. 
 

2nd Mrs M Mann & Ms B & Miss J Mann Braunswood Mask Of Zorro by Melangel.  Smart well put together black masked red puppy, good head and scissor bite, sloping shoulder leading to a nicely covered ribcage, full of himself on the move but could see he moved well.

3rd Mrs Ann A & Miss Susie Orchard Panspayon Starlight Express.  
 

PD 4 (2) 1st Lady Jane Thompson & Mrs S Austin & Mrs S Stanbury Inixia Glamour Boy @ Jhanakia.  Black and white boy bright happy youngster, good stop, mobile well fringed ears, deep chest, good spring of rib, covered the ground well.

2nd Mrs Carol Lees Keomaandi Fly Away To Lafford.  Just not as confident as 1st but will come with age and time, pretty head of nice proportions, well fringed ears, body firm and covered with plenty of silky coat, not as bold on the move but saw enough to see nice movement.

JD 5 (1) Ms D Olof CH Tarnock Wiggle Giggle.  Have watched this young man from the ringside, he did not disappoint, expression so soft and so kind, sparkling eyes, large rounded well fringed ears, nice length of neck leading to a super top line held at all times, floated round the ring as if he owned it, no hesitation on awarding him the dog CC.

2nd Lady Jane Thompson & Mrs S Austin & Mrs S Stanbury Elendil San Miguel.  Black and white not as well coated as the winner, a very nice little dog, lots to like, nice head, deep stop, corrrect mouth, flairing ears used at all times, medium length of neck leading to a level top line and well sprung ribs, nice movement comming and going.

3rd Mrs C Lee Slater Graycaz Where I Go Hugo's

PGD 10 (3) 1st Mrs Liz Anderson & Miss Karen Anderson Elmaraine Outlander For Northlyte.  Super Tri boy, fine muzzle, correct dentition, good body with fine bone, sound positive movement, a silky coat finished the picture, happy to award him reserve RCC

2nd Mrs Mandy Keown Keomandi Fly Me To The Moon J W.  Tri boy, pleasing head and ears, good length of neck and shoulder placement, excellent spring of rib, well muscled hind quarters, good plumed tail, moved well coming and going

3rd Mrs C Montgomery Elmaraine Remy Martin @ Carrollryan

LD 11 (1) 1st Mrs Carol Lees Lafford Black Onyx J W. Fine and dainty, full of life, beautifully presented, in lovely silky coat, sweetest expression, mobile ears with abundence of fine fringes, great body, moved with style.

2nd Mrs C Lee Slater Graycaz Etienne.  Handsome Tri boy, very attentitive to handler, good conformation, typical head, kind expression, well laid shoulders and spring of rib, moved with drive and style.

3rd Mrs E Davidson & Mr Martin Davidson Wild Flame @ Northlight

OD 9 (1) 1st Mrs J Davidson-Poston CH Multi CH & Gt CH (7) Sky Butterfly Elven Cron Prince Spinillons SK Winner 23 Shex (Imp Rus). First and second were both beautiful Papillons who will on a different day change places.

1st was beautifully presented, not a hair out of place, kind dark eye, lovely head, sound in body and movement

2nd CH & Multi CH Fashion First High Priority (Imp).  Coat of the highest quality covering a correct body, moved confidently round the ring

3rd Mrs Liz Anderson Northlyte Buffalo Bill

SBD 3 (1) 1st Mr D T & Mrs W Curry Wilachans Gryffindor For Davankirk. Red and white, correct all round, nice outline, good head, nice conformation, single coat, moved true

2nd Mrs P & Mr R Humphreys Caraideas The Extra Mile Gloynbyw.  10 year old black and white, good body condition, not his usual happy self today

MPB 6 (0)  1st Mrs Elaine Davidson & Mr Martin G Davidson Afterglow Snug As A Bug @ Elmaraine. T.A.F.N.A.F. Nice Tri bitch, good coat and fringes for her age, sweet expression, kind dark eye, good reach of neck, level top line held on the move at all times B.P.I.B.

2nd Mrs Christine Anderson Melangel Rosies Dream.  Slightly smaller than the first, at just six months first time out I was pleased at how well she showed, everything in the right place, as bright as a button

3rd Mrs D Olof Tarnock Rosaline

PB 4 (1)  1st Mrs Christine Anderson  Melangel Rosies Dream. Same as 2nd Minor Puppy Bitch, what a happy little bunny she is

2nd Ms Ann Meacham Hot Gossip Perlowy Raj In To Khanor.  Red and white feminine dainty head, good ear set, correct front and rear angulation, unsettled by change of handler, a nice puppy

3rd Mr J P Munroe Papplewick Petronella

JB 7 (4) 1st Ms Helen Walsh Koemandi Lady Of The Lake.  Lovely little red sable, pretty head, dark eye, medium length of neck leading to correct slope of shoulders and a deep chest, good firm body, well caarried tail

2nd Mrs C Lee Slater Graycaz Dutch Courage.  Slightly bigger type, nicely marked youngster, good head and body, moved well, correct hair feet

3rd Miss Michaela Last & Mrs Shireen Last Lastayla Hocus Pocus

PGB 6 (1) 1st Ms Dee Olof Tarnock Pop The Bubbles.  Smart black and white, full of mischief, sparkling dark eyes framed by super fringed ears, fine silky coat coming in to cover a well covered body, full of bounce on the move, another nice puppy from this kennel

2nd Mrs Judith Warklett Angullyons Hermione.  Lovely head, darkest of eyes, well rounded ears, correct length of neck, super level top line, nice spring of rib, good straight mover

3rd Mrs Susan Turner Nimpfa Elite Pallango At Feyeta

LB 7 (0) 1st Mrs Carol Lees Lafford Ninja.  Dainty fine boned Tri, prettiest of heads, mischievous dark eye, scissor bite, heavily fringed ears, well developed body, her movement free and flowing R.B.CC.

2nd Mrs Mandy Keown Keomandi Fairy Bubbles.  Sweet Tri head, correct ear placement, dark expressive eyes, nice neck length lead to a well covered body, tail carried proudly over her back

3rd The Rev'd Kirsty Wells & Ms Amanda Brown Metamorphic Flyte

OB 5 (1) I think this was the hardest class of the day to judge. I had two beautiful bitches, I would take either or both home, I was splitting hairs

1st Miss Susie Orchard Panspayon Natasha J.W. Dainty Tri, super head and ears, excellent body and condition, everything just as it should be, moved with flair and enthusiasm. B.C.C.

2nd Mrs K F Ryan, Mrs K Roosens & Mr J Goessens Multi CH / CH Uppercutt Daydream Believers With Feorlig.  What can I say which hasnt been said about this beautiful young lady, just felt the first had the edge today, a very hard decision, loved them both.
