It was wonderful to be back at this superb northern show brilliantly put together by Liz Stannard and her tremendously hard working team in an outdoor space. Always such a delight to judge Brittany especially when half the entry consisted of worthy champions quality is really holding up well in the breed at present it seems. Thank you every exhibitor for presenting me with your beautiful exhibits. My grateful thanks to my stewards Samantha and Ron.

1.  SAMARDZIJA & SAMARDZIJA & RYAN - Patouche Amaretto

Ten months old o/w well up to size lovely dark pigmentation alert bright expression pleasing eye colour shape and set head in breed balance notably desirable skull shape high ear set excellent dentition. Very breed typical angulation good body condition for his age with depth of body and firm across the loins. Moderate bone super close feet held topline well as a brisk free mover BP. Congratulations.

1.  GRAHAM & YARROW - Sh Ch Bonapartist Pickpocket

Six years seven months o/w super cobby build very muscled overall with sound construction moderate angulation splendid breed typical masculine head proportions very expressive eyes most attractive presentation. Rounded ribcage short back with slight tuck up slightly rounded croup well set moderate hind angulation with strong muscling hocks vertically set and used to drive powerfully CC & BOB. Congratulations.

2.  NICHOLLS - Sh Ch Minama Unforgettable At Stonesview (ikc)

Three years o/w most delightful expression keen and kind pleasing dark eye colour shape and set super black pigmentation good bone running through the pasterns tight compact feet notably good length of upper arm with moderate hind angulation. Moderate length of neck cleanly set into shoulders moved briskly and soundly RCC. Congratulations.

Rising eight and a half years o/w high ear set super clean strong neck and shoulder placement delightful soft expression reasonable bone for a veteran good depth of brisket held top-line well standing and moving firm slightly sloping croup. Correct hind angulation if a tad close behind in action on the day I considered super straight true front with attractive light feathering head correctly balanced and decidedly masculine looking grand as veteran and remains a great credit to both his owner and breeder RCC & BV. Congratulations.

1.  POOLE & POOLE - Sh Ch Bonapartist Temptress At Laurremar

Litter sister to third in OD class I see rising four and a half years o/w cobby appearance with super front action sound true with good forward reach and correct limited hind extension another most attractive soft feminine breed expression pleasing dark eye colour shape and complimenting coat colour balanced depth of body to length of leg lovely short firm couplings. Typical breed top-line held well on the move moderate hind angulation beautifully muscled with deep second thighs. The best of dense fine coat covering and texture with light feathering on show CC. Congratulations.

2.  YARROW - Sh Ch Minama Usher Of Bonapartist (ikc)

Three years of age litter sister to second OD o/w very good overall construction and breed balanced outline but slightly heavy on the shoulders I considered which detracted from a clean outline for me on the day another highly attractive intelligent bright feminine expression from dark eyes pleasingly set and shaped good moderately bone moved a tad close at the rear I considered today and not quite in her best coat on the day RCC. Congratulations.
