Thank you exhibitors for presenting your lovely entries for assessment it was a delightful show bookended with a young fourteen months dog taking BOB and a nine year old veteran bitch BOS with the winners in between all of pleasing quality. A sign of a breed in a good place with no health concerns reported on the day. Pleased to see blocky heads absent and movement so much better in front than sometime past elbows tighter and loose pasterns seemingly eradicated on the turnout today. Over fifty years ago, showing from an adjoining ring, I observed the noted all-rounder of the day Mrs Judy De Casembrot with blood streaming down her lower leg while judging a Hungarian Vizsla, today the delightful temperaments could not have been better.

Congratulations breeders on all the advancing progress made over the decades.

Rising twenty two months bitch head noble lean proportionate with good length moderate length of muscled neck well placed into shoulders with height at the withers. Body balanced with equal body depth to leg length not square in outline level top-line short back. Good medium bone compact feet sound graceful mover BSB, congratulations.

2.  JONES & JONES - Shelby Silvestre Wednesday

Two years eight months a nicely balanced typical maturing bitch slightly plainer in head finish than the winner I considered well sprung ribcage with length firm top-line very strong across the loin with powerful hindquarters and deep second thighs. Good medium bone arched tight feet moved soundly.

Seven months masculine puppy pleasing typical breed outline super tight firmly padded feet very well constructed throughout pleasing moderate length of strong neck. Most appealing head and intelligent human-like gaze pleasing eye colour shape and set ears thin low set. Still needs to tighten slightly on the move in my opinion free flowing profile graceful trotting action very well muscled and presented for his age BP, shortlisted in the last eight in puppy group, congratulations.

Fourteen months robustly built distinguished upstanding noble youngster maturing nicely for his age full of breed quality presented in splendid covered body substance nothing overdone clean lines with fit muscling and broad croup. Typical masculine breed outline pleasing for size excellent angulation with spring and length of ribcage. Powerful hindquarters short bristling dense smooth coat handled to advantage with correct reaching elegant trot and ground covering drive held top-line well on the move with typical head and tail carriage. Highly promising young dog pleasing for size, shape and colour CC & BOB, congratulations.

2.  MURRAY & PARKER - Szelkiraly's Foolproof JW

Rising sixteen months lean head clean muzzle strong under-jaw with intelligent expression skull with length though not as advanced to maturity as the winners in my opinion firm solid body condition powerful across the loin with height at the withers firmly coupled with slight tuck-up. Strong medium bone straight long forelegs compact firm feet correct moderate hind angulation moved with reach and drive ground covering profile action which won him the placing.

Rising four years a smaller size masculine dog robust appearance with moulded gaunt head and expression most typical upstanding at the withers good depth of brisket firm across the loin. Balanced breed outline with slight length typical top-line powerful hindquarters with deep second thighs pleasing for russet gold colour. A super lithe sound mover with wonderful flowing profile action and drive.

2.  MELLISH - Vizslanya Vulkani

Sixteen months bigger dog than the winner darker in colour robust build with outstanding bone and super tight firmly padded cat-like feet masculine proportionate balanced head full open nostrils strong underjaw though slightly deep in stop for me personally. Well sprung ribcage with lovely length and slight tuck up strong across the loin presented in impressive body condition overall. Another sound mover not quite the drive of the winner on the day I considered.

Two years eight months noble elegant appearance depth of body and leg length equally proportionate though I consider him a tad long in body overall for me but very soundly constructed and angulated. Delightful affectionate gentle temperament correct head and tail carriage on the move with typical reaching graceful trot and rear drive. Attractive masculine proportionate head gaunt breed look with length of skull typical breed gaze and expression straight true front close well set elbows. Powerful hindquarters with deep second thighs correct coat colour personally would like a tad more tail length on show.

2.  GREEN & MARTIN - Goviz Spring Rains By Viszaset (ai)

Three years five months a neat very balanced and angulated mature dog not quite as upstanding in presence as the winner on the day I considered very sound mover graceful profile ground covering action. Pleasing lean head with gaunt look refined and noble excellent medium bone and compact tight feet pleasing for coat colour moderate turn of stifles hocks well set. Thick tail set slightly low presented in super fit condition without any exaggerations.

Three years four months very well angulated throughout splendid breed type a quality exhibit super sound and true mover with ground covering elegant action. Plenty of solid robust substance on show excellent full dentition warm intelligent thoughtful expression. Firm top-line held well on the move slight tuck-up powerful across the loins muscled slightly sloping croup pleasing coat colour greasy in condition powerful muscled hindquarters distinguished appearance a very worthy champion Res CC, congratulations.

2.  CHALLIS - Sh Ch Vizslanya Aragonia JW ShCEx OSW

Six years ten months super solid straight true front strongly medium bone where he scored over the winner in my opinion balanced head with good length of skull a tad deep in stop for me personally full open nostril with delightful kind affectionate expression from dark eyes. The best feet in the class thickly padded tight cat-like compact another sound powerful ground covering elegant mover with strong hindquarters and deep second thighs on show pleasing head and tail carriage. Short shiny well textured coat this was a tricky class all four lovely dogs were close decisions and could easily change places on another day.

Ten years three months a lovely veteran every inch a champion unlucky to meet the bitch in the challenge for BV excellent breed angulation with height at the withers breed balanced outline good dentition still and super fit condition for his years. Moved with sweeping driving graceful action strong medium bone and broad firm sloping muscled croup tail well set and carried. Most appealing proportionate noble head with gaunt look and attractive intelligent expression. Looking grand on the the day with the full essence of the breed on show. 

2.  CHALLIS - Highforce Future Legend For Vizslanya JW ShCEx VW

Nine years three months excellent balanced breed outline straight firm medium boned front correct depth of body to length of foreleg a fit noble distinguished masculine presence another looking wonderful for his age both dogs a real credit to the breed and showing the youngsters how to move. Strong across the loins and powerful hindquarter muscling still on show deep second thighs. A close decision I noted a striking dark eye colour.

Fifteen months straight and true in front balanced outline correct coat colour strong short back firm top-line good depth of body with balanced length of leg excellent cat-like tight feet. Head proportions nobly feminine with good length of skull presented in pleasing body condition for her age. The soundest mover in the class in my opinion on the day.

2.  HARDY & PHILLIPS - Nevedith Golden Reign At Szelfuto

Thirteen months another solid straight front along with a balanced breed outline gracefully moved with determined reach and drive attractive head proportions intelligent gaze and thoughtful expression from pleasing eye colour shape and set thin ears well placed of correct length. Nicely raised at the withers strong bone compact thick padded feet powerful hindquarters for her age with deep second thighs.

Two years nine months most appealing proportionate feminine head and expression on this well bodied bitch excellent overall angulation balanced breed outline firm top-line muscular broad croup. Robust yet elegant in appearance and action strongly muscled throughout quality medium bone compact tight feet. Sound true mover won the biggest class of the day on her quality and distinguished breed presence.

2.  CHALLIS - Vizslanya Visszater

Three years two months lovely head proportions with length of skull moderate stop nicely squared end to muzzle strong under-jaw highly typical standing and moving though not quite the drive of the winner I considered on the day but she carried fuller substance than the first placed. Good depth of body to length of leg dark eye colour moderate turn of stifles with powerfully muscled hindquarters and deep second thighs strong bone stood on firm cat-like feet a sound true mover with pleasing head and tail carriage darker in colour than the winner.

Two years three months she headed a quality class noble distinguished appearance with refinement splendid straight solid front and fore-chest super depth of brisket upstanding at withers with balanced length of leg attractive eye colour shape and set. Strong medium bone neat cat-like feet strong across the loin short back slight tuck-up well sprung ribcage with length. Balanced breed outline with length pleasing tail set and length hindquarters squarely set hocks well let down. Excellent construction without exaggeration a very sound mover fore and aft with drive typical head carriage. Delighted to award her Res CC complementing her lovely kennel mate, congratulations.

Three years two months another super fronted bitch though it was the quality of her head proportions and chiselled finish that won her the placing with pleasing eye colour shape and set alongside thin correctly set and shaped ears giving a feminine gaunt look to an intelligent affectionate gaze. Slightly raised at the withers firm top-line well sprung ribcage presented in solid body condition with balanced depth of body to length of leg. Powerful hindquarters and a determined sound mover.

Two years lovely breed type and balanced outline pleasing for size and height at withers delightful gently affectionate expression moderate length of strong clean neck well set into shoulders plenty of fore-chest on show good spring of ribcage with depth and equally proportionate to length of foreleg. Feminine chiselled head attractive shaded eye colour set and shape complementary to russet gold coat colour full open nostrils good length of skull and typical clean muzzle finish firm under-jaw moderate stop. Very soundly constructed overall unexaggerated angulation splendid hindquarter muscling with deep second thighs hocks well set noble distinguished presence.

Three years four months somewhat darker colour than the winner a most appealing expression intelligent gentle fearless with full wide open nostrils noble strong under-jaw bearing a robust overall build carrying plenty of solid substance yet feminine and distinguished slightly more compact in outline than the winner with muscled moderate neck length though not quite her muscled hindquarter finish for me on the day. Excellent quality medium bone compact tight feet firmly padded strong across the loin well sprung ribcage. A sound true mover pleasing head and tail carriage.

Nine years old looking grand still well knitted together free from exaggerations beautifully angulated overall standing nobly over a notable area of ground. Top-line true and firm presented in fit muscled condition solid substance throughout coat shining and greasy textured a robust distinguished presence in the ring. Russet gold coat colour with complementary darker eye colour super quality medium bone for a veteran strong pasterns still and compact tight feet. Sensitive affectionate fearless temperament on display with breed typical head and tail carriage her superbly sound graceful action an example of how the breed should move in my opinion for me the finest mover on the day in the entry. I was drawn increasingly to her qualities in the challenge to awarded CC & BV and later see her shortlisted in last eight in the veteran group, congratulations.

Seven years three months another impressive veteran solid straight front plenty of fore-chest on show breed typical outline with depth slight tuck-up and good length to outline correct construction pleasing for size and breed type. Refined feminine head gaunt look muzzle and skull in breed proportions most lovely work and chiselling on show attractive eye colour shape and set thin ears set fairly low. Still carrying strong medium bone well sprung ribcage with length muscled slightly sloping croup powerful muscled hindquarters sound on the move front and rear.
