I was grateful for the strong entry across all breeds despite the weather. It is an honour when exhibitors choose to enter under me and allow me the privilege of going over their dogs. All exhibits presented with correct bite and dentition in good condition; I did not encounter any poor mouths.
Every show is a learning experience for all involved, and I thoroughly enjoyed my day with you.My sincere thanks to my two ring stewards, who kept the ring running smoothly and remained cheerful throughout.

1st: 377 HUDSON’s Mournebrake Also An Angel: 2.5‑year‑old sturdy male of medium size with overall balance and a square outline. I liked his head, round from the front with a well‑defined stop. Ears set just below the skull and covered in cords. Eyes well defined with black rims, giving a lively, intelligent expression. Black nose complements his round muzzle of one‑third head length. Tight lips and strong jaws. Strong neck blending into a solid back. Loin short. Tightly curled tail completes the silhouette. Shoulders well laid. Ribs deep and well sprung. Straight, parallel forelegs; hindquarters strong and well muscled with good stifle bend and low hocks. Compact feet turning neither in nor out. White, well‑corded coat, damp from rain. Lively and maintained a firm topline on the move. RBD,RBOB
2nd: 379 SCRUTTON’s Tyngeli Make A Wish For Gemeau: Beautiful black female just short of 2-year-old, of good size and with a feminine profile. Head was small and balance. Eyes dark and lively. Muzzle of good shape. Black nose. Muscled neck leads into a short, level topline. Loin short. Shoulders well-placed. Well‑sprung ribs. Front and rear legs parallel with good round, tight feet. On the move she was rather distracted but still kept up with her handler. I liked her head definition, she’s very pretty and presented in excellent coat condition for her age. She was reluctant to allow examination just before I made the decision on the class winner, which was a shame.
Class 254 OD/B (3,0)
1st: 375 COWLEY’s Ch Kashbeluli There We Are Then JW ShCEx OSW: 4‑year‑old sturdy male of excellent proportion and balanced outline. Masculine head, small and doomed skull. Dark eyes. Strong neck of medium length blends nicely into a good return of upper arm and well‑laid shoulders. Straight forelegs and tight elbows. Short back. Strong, broad loin. Tail tightly curled on the croup, completing the silhouette. Under the well‑corded coat, behind the elbows, is his broad ribcage. Hindquarters well muscled with well‑turned stifles and low hocks. Tight, round feet front and rear. Solid black, well‑corded coat, nearly touching the ground and in good condition. Short‑stepping coming and going. Going around he was animated and responsive. Very stylish and sound in movement. BD,BOB.
2nd: 376 HUDSON’s Mournebrake Archangel: 4‑year‑old male of good bone and quality, medium size with a squarish outline. Under the corded coat was a small head with dark brown eyes and well‑corded ears. Blunt, rounded muzzle. Muscular neck blending into a level topline. Loin short and well-muscled. Tail correctly set and carried. Forequarters well boned with well‑laid shoulders and straight forelegs. Ribs broad and deep with slight tuck‑up. Strong hindquarters with well‑muscled thighs; rear legs parallel with good stifle bend and low hocks. Small, tight, round feet. Coat well corded, dark grey with various shades. Short, brisk gait. On the move he held his topline well and remained lively throughout.
