Class 2091 VD (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 4392 ROBERTS, Mr D Ch Swansford Gabrieldor

Most handsome shaded red who commanded attention.  Gorgeous head and eye shape, masculine yet elegant, good ear placement, strong neck leading into an excellent front assembly with correct angles and good forechest.  Plenty of rib and a strong loin, correct rear quarters and good strong feet.  Presented in immaculate condition with a clean shining coat, good body weight and plenty of muscle.  Moved with verve and purpose  RCC and BV, pleased to see him awarded  Hound Veteran Group 2.

2nd: 4367 GARLICK, Miss E A Ranglewood Harvest Song

Black and tan, well constructed male with some good breed points, not quite the reach and drive of 1 on the move.  Carrying good body weight and muscle tone but coat presentation could be improved.

Class 2094 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 4374 HENDREN AND COOPER, Mr & Mrs Austin And Juliet & H Bronia Leonardo

Red with a lovely head and cheeky expression, good eye shape and colour.  Well shaped ears, strong neck leading into a good front with width and depth to chest giving plenty of heart room.  Elbows neatly tucked in and tidy feet.  Strong loin, adequate rear quarters but I would prefer a little more bend of stifle for complete balance.  Presented in good clean condition with firm muscle.  Moved with accuracy and purpose.

1st: 4380 O'NEILL, Ms Sue & ONEILL, Miss Kim Ranglewood Finlaggan At Donnadach

Black and tan, very masculine in head and a little broad in backskull but with a strong muzzle which balanced.  Overall a stockily built dog with good forechest, good ribbing and a strong loin, well made front and rear assemblies.  Moved with style and purpose but overall presentation be improved.

Class 2096 LD (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4381 O'NEILL, Ms Sue & ONEILL, Miss Kim Ranglewood Pheonix At Donnadach

Black and tan.  Not the most eye catching on first look but excelled on the move in this class.  Not overdone in any department, he has a lovely head, eye and expression.  Clean strong neck, well angled forequarters, good depth and width to chest, firm loin and strong rear.  Moved true and with some style.

2nd: 4385 PASKINS, Mr K & Mrs S Kindeace London's Calling Jw

Shaded red, tends to look rather exaggerated in front when stacked which doesnt help his topline.  Good head, eye and expression, strong neck, good ribbing and ground clearance.  Gave a better overall outline on the move, using his strong rear to advantage.

Class 2097 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4371 GEESON, Miss Elizabeth Ch Abydachs Return Of The Night

Shaded red.  Extremely elegant both stacked and on the move, presented in immaculate coat, body and muscle condition.  Gorgeous head, excellent expression, good ear placement.  Strong neck leading into classic front  with good forechest, plenty  of ribbing and a firm loin.  Strong well angulated rear which he used to drive around the ring with real purpose and enthusiasm.  CC and BOB, pleased to see him shortlisted in a lovely Hound Group.

2nd: 4365 FRICKER, Mrs J Ch Sundayshill Theodore For Borzdac

Red, built on heavier lines but still plenty to admire in this dog, a close decision, I just preferred the more elegant outline of 1.  A balanced head with lovely eye shape and expression, strong neck, well angulated front and rear, strong loin and presented in rock solid condition.  Moved with purpose.

Class 2098 SBB (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4373 HEAP, Miss Patricia Ranglewood Katrine

Black and tan, well balanced with a lovely head and eye shape,  good neck and adequate front and rear quarters, presented in good body and coat condition.  Moved ok but a little reluctant at times.  Best Sp Bg

2nd: 4391 RICHARDSON, Miss Emily Ranglewood Noelle

Black and tan, overall bigger than 1 and not quite so balanced on the stack, tending to stand a little high in the rear.  A good head and expression, more balanced on the move and presented in good coat and body condition.

Class 2102 JB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 4402 WHITFIELD-ROBERTS, Mr A Swansford Opheliadora

Difficult class, both having merits and could easily change places.  I just preferred the overall condition of 1 on the day.  Very similar in type.  Typical head and expression, well put together and balanced in construction.  Tending to move a little close behind at times, but strode out with purpose.  Presented well with muscle and correct body weight.

2nd: 4387 PIKE & CARTER, Mrs & Mrs Julie & Ashlie Swansford Olympiadora At Breezelyn

Very similar and little to choose between these two.  I just preferred the overall body condition of 1.  Good head and expression, well proportioned body ratio, good front and rear angles, good chest well ribbed.  Carrying a little too much weight for me.

Class 2103 PGB (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4379 MCNAUGHTON, Ms Lesley Cedavoch Twist Of Fate

What a fidget this young lady was on the stack, but in the end she pulled it all together on the move which won her the class and the RCC.  Well balanced front and rear assemblies, lovely head and expression, in excellent coat and body condition with firm muscle.  A strong forechest and level topline.

2nd: 4390 REID, Mr P & Mrs D Cavallibrook Ryhars Final Impression

Red, heavier build than 1, well proportioned bitch with no exaggerations, tended to slightly roach in topline.  Good front assembly but lacked a little angulation in the rear for balance.  Moved well.

Class 2104 LB (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 4398 VINCENT, Miss S L Breezelyn A Long Story At Gainscroft

Black and tan, very uncooperative on the stack but I could not deny her the place in this class.  Lovely head and expression, good forechest, excellent angles to front and rear, good overall proportions and presented in outstanding muscle condition with a shiny clean coat.  Moved soundly and with purpose.  Serious contender for the RCC

2nd: 4382 PARTRIDGE, Mrs A Pettigans Viva La Vida By Riveroyal JW

Shaded red, obviously out of coat but nothing to hide and I really liked her clean outline.  Good head, eyes and expression, Strong neck and well angulated front and rear, good ribbing and a firm loin, moved well.

1st: 4393 ROBERTS, Mr D Ch Swansford Padmeadora JW

Lovely class, but this shaded red bitch stood out.  Lovely head and expression, smooth neck into shoulder with excellent front and rear quarters, tidy feet, good forechest and plenty of rib, strong rear with good muscle, which she used to power round the ring with style.  Not overdone with coat but presented in beautiful clean condition.  Rock solid on the stack and demanded the win  BCC

2nd: 4369 GARLICK, Miss E A Ranglewood Andromeda

Close decision and a different type being heavier built but still a lovely bitch.  Good head and expression, very well constructed and balanced, well presented in both coat and body condition, moved soundly with purpose.
