Firstly i would like to thank the society for inviting me to judge and my fellow judge for sharing her impressive entry.To the exhibitors for the great atmosphere round the ring, so unusual these days staying for both shows making this a very special occasion for me and a long day for the dogs.

I do feel i have to make  a general comment regarding the breed .For the first time I found  the dogs of better quality than the bitches and the lack of depth of quality in the senior classes in both sexes disappointing.

I never would have expected to find my BOB in my first class of the day much  less in my first dog .This male on the day just blew me away .He is one of the best males i have judged .Standard fitting in all aspects he has the most wonderful typical head and expression which i won't forget excellent ear set strong neck ,excellent shoulder and front assembly, strong top line lovely angulation and moves with effortless reach and drive covering the ground with ease.The overall balance just fills the eye.a pleasure to award him CC BOB and to watch him win group 3 under such esteemed judge.The challenge to his owners is to maintain his condition in one so young i wish them all the best going forward.
