AV Gundog Puppy Bitch (21 Entries) Abs: 8
1st: Macara & Blackburn-Bennett Kanix Sooty At Stargang, feminine Pointer bitch who just keep catching my eye, I loved the shape that she presented, everything just flowed, she has a beautiful balanced head, stop well defined, pronounced occipital bone, wide nostrils, muzzle somewhat concave, scissor bite, kind expression, ears of medium length, set fairly high, slightly pointed at the tips, long muscular neck, slightly arched into well laid shoulders, balanced angulation front and rear, good forechest, forelegs straight with oval bone, pasterns slightly sloping, well sprung ribs, short coupled, good expanse of first and second thigh, oval feet well arched, tail carried level with the back, she just demands your attention on the move showing good reach and drive. Such a good future for this girl. I was pleased to award her Best Overall On the Day over the male which I later found out was her half brother.
2nd: O’Brien Caldewriver Storm N' Teacup for Katillien, another exciting puppy bitch and a very close decision between her and the winner which is a nice choice to have, this feminine German Wirehaired Pointer is a showgirl and also demands your attention, she is powerful and strong of medium size, good head which is balanced in proportion to body, skull sufficiently broad, moderate stop, balanced head proportions, dark oval eye, scissor bite, ears of medium size set high, neck strong and of adequate length into shoulder, balanced angulation front and rear, elbows close to body, forelegs straight and pasterns slightly sloping, ribs deep and good spring of ribs, back firm, stifles well bent, well arched feet, correct coat texture, moved with reach and drive. A lovely bitch who I will continue to watch.
