Labrador Retrievers Judge Mrs Claire Mills

I would like to thank the society for my invitation to Judge Labradors,

and my 2 stewards who kept the ring running smoothly.

The quality of my entry was fantastic, unfortunately alot of good dogs where lacking coats, some had undesirable heads, and movement in some dogs was very poor Labrador movement should be straight and true both front and rear.

I found some exhibits difficult to asses, both dogs and handlers would benefit from some ring craft training

Delighted to say my Best Puppy was awarded Gundog Puppy group 4

And my best Special Begginers  awarded SB group 4

I just loved this dog, he is a strong powerful boy, good broad head and ears set well, good neck set into well placed shoulders, deep through chest short coupled with a good second thigh, very well muscled, good topline his tail never stopped wagging coming clean off his back, moved with power around the ring, my only complaint would be that he is carrying a tad too much weight, but that didn’t affect my decision to award him the RCC BSB then later going 4th in SB group

2nd: 4980 CLARENCE, Mrs Helen Harvest Sundance

This yellow dog was a little unsure today, he has a lovely head with good pigment, clean neck leading onto a good topline, thick tail, moved ok
