DARLINGTON DOG SHOW SOCIETY. 18-09-26. As always David and Stuart and committee, provide a warm welcome and a very efficient well-run show, with immaculate rings.

ENGLISH SETTER

Class 25 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 84 WILSON, Mrs Jane Ir Sh Ch Ravensett Giovanni. This 8-year-old O/B, just enjoyed his day, doing all asked willingly with a wagging tail, that made me smile. He is a very smart English with lovely moulded head, gentle outlook and decent proportions. His neck flows through decent forehand, he is well ribbed and has good coupling. 

Class 27 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 48 ADAMS, Mrs L D Alolfrana Xclusive Party. This chap has done his growing and worked the ring with his handler to produce the necessary requirement to win here and best puppy. He has a lovely head with confident sociable expression from a dark clean eye. He has a supple ear and balanced head proportions. Well placed forehand, stands on well boned legs and neat padded feet. His outline flows to well set tail and strong quarters. Super presentation and coat in full bloom.  

Class 28 JD (4 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: 59 HOWARTH, Mrs Jane & HOWARTH, Mr David Samelen Enchanto At Moorbrook.At 14 months he is a super shape and balance with typical quality features. Yes, he could be a bit cheeky on the move, which is ok at this age for me, but his overall construction and form is right and standing he presented such a Lovley overall picture of the breed and was produced in full bloom ,that he had to have the CC.


Class 29 PGD (5 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 56 HENDRY, Mr Stuart & HENDRY, Mrs Beverley Ilexeset Sunny Disposition. I didn’t get the picture that the Hadler was the most experienced, however he had turned out this dog in very good condition and muscle. To go over this one was skeletally so soundly made. he has a beautiful moulded head and is balanced for bone and masculinity. He didn’t need an experienced handler as he is made right so moved right and had the character to move on with good demeanour. He well deserved the Res cc.
2nd: 50 ARKLEY, Miss Lindsey & ARKLEY, Mr Peter Oshowa Dream Lover At Tribulora.A satisfying dog with breed type and presented in good order, of body and coat. I would like a bit more commitment and impulsion. 
3rd: 74 TAYLOR, Miss Toni Ann Kanietter Goldmandine Of Tattay JW
Res: 64 MCDOWELL, Mr & Mrs A Byedales Inspector Clueso JW


Class 31 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 69 SEAMAN, Mrs B K Sh Ch Mariglen Just George. He had type in outline and appealed on first impression. Decent enough in head, rather steep in shoulder blade and loose in elbow. I felt he could have a touch more quality of bone and rib. He had a good temperament and worked the ring on the move to win her.
2nd: 65 PEARCE, Mrs Josephine Sh Ch Westonfields Frenchrunner Strong, lively, but not quite the overall balance of the winner or the deportment on the move. Very well bodied and in full gleaming coal.  
3rd: 57 HEPBURN, Mrs A Tattersett Rainbow Legacy


Class 32 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 55 GRIMSDELL, Mr & Mrs A Sh Ch Tattersett Dark Honey JW. In outline this one was hard to get past, what a beauty. She has quality in abundance, super typical features throughout and is firm in outline. Presented in lovely body and coat and she moved with lovely spirit. Very close up to the winners today.  BVIB.
Class 33 MPB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 68 SCHONEVILLE, Mrs R Balvenie Shona.A 7-month- tri baby, she has it all, not obviously, that bit more finish against the 11-month male, but I really liked her and feel she will have a richly deserved future, her type and balance is all there. Her handler was gentle and gave her confidence. Very lovely.

Class 35 JB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 80 WILKINSON-SARGEANT, Ms H J Walshaw Star Struck. Just newly into junior and had a confidence from being well handled. She is feminine with a beautiful head, dark expressive kind eye and correct balance of foreface. She stands on good legs and feet, has a clean well put together forehand anis well ribbed to short coupling. Lovely tail set and use. 
2nd: 51 ASKEW, Mr Duncan & ASKEW, Mrs Elaine Droveborough Hey Jude. This 17-momth has a lot of potential. She pleased for type and was produced in good body. Her handler just needs to relax a bit and quietly work with her. 

Class 36 PGB (7 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 76 WELBURN, Mrs Nicola Jane & WELBURN, Mr Paul Oshowa Just A Dream JW. This 2-year-old B/B. presented a soundly built, strong, feminine English setter. Really lovely head and outlook, has femininity with bone. She is short coupled and held it together go well. 
2nd: 67 RIDSDILL, Mr G Sharnyx She's So Pretty. Pleasing head, she has good body and outline and stands well on firm legs to good feet. Very honest sort, and presented in lovely coat. 
3rd: 66 REID, Mr I & Mrs K Diersett Moon Of The Skies Jw

Class 37 LB (6 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 52 DANKS, Ms R & LITTLECHILD, Mr Graham & LITTLECHILD Ravensett Allegra With Alolfrana. Striking in outline, and conformation of her quality hands on. She has elegance from her lovely head, through the dry strong neckline and firm topline to her well-placed tail, which is not too long and lashes her flanks on the move. First class production of coat, make for a stunning profile action and positive foot fall coming and going. CC&BOB.
2nd: 72 STEPHENSON, Mrs Jakki Mariglen Wave Dancer For Bondgate JW.  This bitch matched for size and balance of the winner. She appeals in head ,has legs and coupling and put in the effort today  on the move to take second place and the Res CC.
3rd: 75 WELBURN, Mrs Nicola Jane & WELBURN, Mr Paul Oshowa Love To Dream JW
