I would like to thank the Darlington Committee for the pleasure and honor to judge BIS at one of my favorite shows and the first Championship show I ever exhibited at in the Early 1970's, never did I think then that I would eventually judge their BIS. 

As usual it was extremely well organised and ran smoothly with a good atmosphere and finishing in lovely sunshine 

The group judges had sent through some excellent dogs to choose from, all of which showed and performed well. After inspection it came down to two, who in my opinion stood away from the rest. 

 I was delighted to award best in show to the Min Schnauzer Ch Wellingley Won For The Road JW , I found a robust sturdy dog, compact and well made throughout giving a picture of balance and style. He never let up showing with an keen alert expression. Shown in excellent coat and condition and moving with precision and a ground covering stride holding his outline.

Reserve  Ch Ranveli Diki Diki - WHIPPET - Dog , another top class dog so full of quality and breed type,  he is a series of graceful curves flowing from  head to tail, a picture of elegance yet with power . Well constructed and balanced throughout and covering the ground with an effortless long free stride , holding a good outline at all times and another shown in excellent muscular condition and good coat, a very close decision between these two and a  pleasure to judge.
