Many thanks to the Committee for these appointments rescheduled due to Covid, also to my two lady stewards in ring 27 they were so efficient even at the end of a very long hard 3rd. day for them.

Class 2240 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6212 FAIREST, Mrs Carol Ch. Henson Fairest Lad 8 3/4yrs. Bl/T Sturdy well boned lad . Good head and muzzle ratios and stop. Alert ear usage and dark eye. Strength in jaw with good dentition. Well laid in shoulder and fit to elbow chest depth and ribbing, firm in body well-muscled rear gives him a powerful action and ground cover.

Class 2242 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6220 HUGHES, Mrs Pauline Poolheywood Barney 13 ½ mths  B/ T. Nice markings, size, make and shape on the stand. Flat skull, using ears, good stop and shape of muzzle and bite. Depth in chest and bend of stifle, neat hocks. When settled found a fluid powerful brisk action.


2nd: 6224 THOMAS, Mr Guy & THOMAS, Mrs Sara Skipest Winter Blues  13mths B/T. Ample bone for age, darker eye than 1. Needs a little more ring craft to improve his handling and movement, was not fluid and tended to bunny hop.

Class 2243 PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6222 MCBRIDE, Mrs Wendy Utthanshavan Wolf Moon Man 21/2 yrs Good masculine shape on the stand. Flat skull and good taper to muzzle with good bite. Neck fits into well laid shoulders, good depth and width to chest and ribbing firm in top line. Nice bend of stifles and well-muscled to thighs and neat hocks. Rich markings and thumbprints slight turn of pasterns. Had a brisk strong ground covering action.  RDCC.


2nd: 6221 LAGONEGRO, Mrs VIVIENNE Mary LANKEELA KRISTI AND EEYORE 20mths longer cast on the stand than 1. Today giving his handler a hard time. Good skull, stop and muzzle, not showing his ears off to advantage, dark eye of good shape. Ample depth and lay of shoulder and depth of ribbing. Not the muscle tone as 1. Moving was not balanced and kept wanting to smell the ground.


3rd: 6224 THOMAS, Mr Guy & THOMAS, Mrs Sara Skipest Winter 


Class 2244 LD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6215 FELSTEAD, Mrs D L Lankeela You Go Boss At Foveaux JW Liver/Tan Masculine shape on the stand. Skull is flat with good ear set and usage, right amount of stop, Almond eye of good colour for tone as is pigmentation. Muzzle nice taper and on parallel planes to skull with good dentition. Neck is muscular into well laid shoulders, elbows fit into well sprung ribbing, and legs and pasterns have strength. Firm top line and well-muscled rear neat powerful hocks with good tail set and carriage. Moving had such a balance and fluidity and purpose about him. First time I saw him was in an exceptionally strong Pastoral Group and shortlisted him then. Pleased to award DCC and BOB.

Class 2245 OD NO ENTRIES

Class 2246 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6219 HUCK, Mrs J Ch. Leyeside Miss Bonnie 9yrs.BL/Tan Mature feminine shape on the stand. Head ratios and planes good and dentition, using ears well. Dark almond eye with good pigment and rich markings. Good lay of shoulders and ribbing top line still firm well-muscled rear giving her a fluid strong action away and toward. Wouldn’t want any more weight on her, but still could move. BV


2nd: 6226 WEBSTER, Mrs Kath Milllirenn Margarita 10yrs Expressive dark eye and good ear usage. Firm top line, good ribbing and elbow fit, desired thumbprints and slight pastern turn out. Well-muscled rear. Not quite the fluidity of 1 today.

Class 2247 PB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6216 FELSTEAD, Mrs D L Foveaux Queens Gambit Bl/T 11 1/2mths. Feminine size make and shape and proportions. Skull is flat good set and usage of ears, right amount of stop and toper to muzzle, with good bite. Dark expressive eye and good pigment. Neck fits well into front assembly, chest has depth and good elbow fit and no weakness in pasterns which have slight thumbprints. Top line is firm ample bend of stifles and neat hocks. Good tail set and carriage when moving out fluidly with strong drive too. BP Should make up easily.

1st: 6216 FELSTEAD, Mrs D L Foveaux Queens Gambit ~Repeat from previous class.


2nd: 6213 FAIREST, Mrs Carol Skipest Summer Breeze Nice feminine size make and shape on the stand with good rich markings. Dark expressive eye and nice pigment, using ears well. Ample reach of neck and front assembly. Firm top line. Moving was not as balanced and positive as 1 today.


Class 2249 PGB NO ENTRIES

Class 2250 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6223 OAKDEN, Mr ANTHONY & CONWAY, Mr Paul Parabar Perfec Paws Bl/T Clean feminine outline 2yrs. Flat skull and muzzle on parallel planes with right amount of stop. Dark eye and pigment. Neck fits into good lay of shoulder and elbow fit. Ample spring of ribbing. Stands on firm pasterns and thumbprints to legs. Rear has muscling and tidy hocks, tail set and carriage. On the move gave a positive powerful ground cover. RBCC.


2nd: 6225 WEBSTER, Mrs Kath Brockbrae September Dawn Richly marked 5 yrs. Balance in skull to muzzle ratios, good bite. A little loaded in shoulders and ribbing. Strength to pasterns. Ample muscling t rear. Moving out and back not the balance and fluidity of 1.

Class 2251 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 6214 FELSTEAD, Mrs D L Ch. Selestar Salix Lutea With Foveaux 4yrs B/T Feminine silhouette on the stand. Skull is flat right amount of stop and taper of muzzle with correct bite and dentition. Dark expressive eye and alert usage of ear. Neck fits into well laid shoulders Depth in chest with good elbow fit and strength in pasterns and good feet. Top line is firm with good tail set and carriage. Rear assembly has firm thighs and neat hocks. Comes into her own on the move with such positivity and brisk ground cover. Keeping a balance shape. BCC


2nd: 6211 CREASEY, Mrs Kaydie Vittador Gold Dust for Leyeside 2 yrs. not as mature on the stand as 1 but still feminine in outline. Skull still developing as is muzzle with good bite. Ample neck. Chest needs more depth and width for me. One that needs more time. Moved out quite well not the positivity of 1.
