1st: 5312 SALMON, Mrs Alison & SALMON, Mr Frank Obi Wan Kenobi Of Kindergarten At Seasmolt (imp Hu). I first judged this chap when he was a naughty 10-month-old puppy, determined to sort out an Airedale! I am pleased he has certainly grown up since then and learnt his manners. I thought he was a top-quality puppy then with great potential. He has not developed on quite as much as I had hoped, but he could be one of those dogs who matures as a puppy, then goes through that teenage period in Junior. I look forward to seeing the end product. He has attractive badger markings. Well proportioned, super length of head and wide between the ears. Dark oval rather than round eyes and super ears, slightly rounded and carried close to his cheeks. Correct oblong shape, low set, with excellent topline and good ribbing. Just needs to body up more. Very good hindquarters and front action. Good tail set and ‘dog behind the tail.’ Very good movement, brisk and vigorous with plenty of drive. Presented in good coat. BEST SPECIAL BEGINNERS.

1st: 5298 BETTIS, Mrs Denise & BETTIS, Mr Leonard Whooperhill Sand Dollar With Ornella. I really fell for this 10-month-old puppy dog, who must have a very bright future. My notes just say, absolutely wonderful, as expected. Perfect outline, presentation and movement! What else can I say? I see he was only beaten by his grandfather today. A while ago I see I made his grandmother BOB and his father BP, who went on to be BPIS. The type I like. I was delighted to see Sand Dollar was awarded Group Four in the Junior Terrier Group today. BEST PUPPY, BEST JUNIOR & RESERVE BEST DOG.
2nd: 5304 HAMPSON, Miss Lisa Jeanette & HAMPSON, Mrs Janet Kamryan Meraviglioso Mario. A very nice type. Presented differently. A well-balanced masculine head, of good length. Correctly set ears carried close to his cheeks. Good neck and spring of ribs. Good movement with plenty of drive.

Oblong shape of medium length, with well sprung ribs. Broad and deep chest let down between his forelegs. Nice head, with slightly domed skull. Moved very well, brisk and vigorous.

Class 2516 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 5301 CRANG, Mrs Sarah & CRANG, Mr Julian Lushell Gwyn Cariad. A well-built dog with plenty of substance. Longer in back, giving an oblong outline. Very nice forequarters, with well laid shoulders. Forelegs short, strong and as straight as possible consistent with his chest being let down. Good head proportions, skull slightly domed and wide between the ears. Dark eyes with pigmented eye rims. I thought his ears may be a bit small but well set. Muscular neck. Good ribbing and depth of brisket, firm topline and well angulated hindquarters with good tail set. Moved well. He had ticking in his skin, but not in his coat, which is acceptable.
2nd: 5307 KHRENOV, Mrs Emma Louisa & KHRENOV, Mr Oleg Lord Of The Rings Of Taita's Ushabti At Gelodneaea.  I preferred this dog’s coat, which was the correct harsh type and well presented. I considered his profile gave a shorter body. He had good bone and substance. Masculine well-proportioned head, with good breadth between his well-placed, correct sized ears. Dark eyes with a keen expression and good dentition. Strong muscular neck, good ribs and breadth and depth of chest, firm topline, well-muscled quarters with plenty behind his strong tail. Moved well, with a brisk and active action.

Class 2517 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 5294 BELL, Mrs Christine C Ch Zippor Sleepy Sapphireson At Letara. One of my favourites, now 6 years old, who I have admired from a puppy. I am so pleased he has developed into a top winning champion, receiving top accolades. He can be a ‘naughty boy’ with his typical terrier attitude and today was one of them, robbing him of a chance of BOB, but could not deny him Best Dog against his grandson. I consider he is what a Sealyham terrier dog should look like. Lovely head with slightly domed skull, nice dark eye, great ear set, super length of neck into good shoulders, level topline, everything in proportion within an oblong body. Good tail set and carriage, with quarters protruding beyond the set of tail. Beautifully presented and trimmed with correct harsh coat. Moved briskly with plenty of drive, taking control of the ring. He has such a naughty terrier attitude. I love him. BEST DOG.

1st: 5296 BETTIS, Mrs Denise & BETTIS, Mr Leonard Ch Nunneley Hopscotch Over Ornella JW ShCEx OSW. Another I have judged as a puppy, who has now matured into a beautiful champion bitch. So well balanced, oblong in shape giving a super Sealyham outline. Of great substance but still feminine. Well-proportioned head with slightly domed skull and wide between the ears. Dark eyes and well-set super ears. Long muscular neck, leading to good shoulders. Correct length of body, level topline, with broad, deep chest. Muscular thighs with well bent stifles and quarters protruding beyond the tail set. Wonderful brisk and free movement with plenty of drive. Super, harsh coat. Presented and handled to perfection. BEST OF BREED & BEST BITCH.
2nd: 5295 BELL, Mrs Christine C Ch Whooperhill Serendipity For Letara Jw. A worthy champion and yet another I judged as a puppy. Nicely boned and presented in good condition. Good length of well-proportioned head, with slight stop. Correct forequarters. Oblong shaped body. Well set tail. Moved well. RESERVE BEST BITCH.
