CITY of BIRMINGHAM  25. A busy lively show, with great organisation so no messing the finals, every day were done and finished, so exhibitors could be on their way home. Well done and thank you.

DAY.1

ROTTWEILER.

As a breeder before a judge ,I tend to look at the catalogue ,when I get home, before starting the critique, I am often surprised that more folk don’t use dogs from breeders who consistent  produce type and quality.

Class 255 SBD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 470 SMITH, Mrs Victoria Jaegerot Mr Marvellous.20 -month with strength and balance of body to leg. Decent head, strong neck, could have a little more return of upper arm. Needs to tighten in pasterns. He was presented in hard muscular condition and worked well with handler. going round a good shape.  BSB.

Class 257 MPD (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 455 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Fantasa Strike It Lucky.8-month siblings in this class .1st.  was a touch more forward than 2nd. Both appealed in head, with confident outlook from dark well-fitting eye. Strength in muzzle with firm flews.  Both, strong clean in outline, just right for bone and feet. 1st. presented a totally balanced picture and did his job. BP.
2nd: 456 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Fantasa Strikes Again. Again ,well produced and handled, looking ,a touch longer in loin  and not quite the finish of his brother.

1st: 459 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Fantasa Ghost Of Xmas Past. 9-month. Masculine, clean in shape, built soundly with an elegance and power. Yes he is a bit cheeky ,in personality ,that comes with age in youngsters .He should come on well as its all there .

Class 259 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 442 BERESFORD, Mr Nigel John & DUNHILL-HALL, Miss Mich Fantasa Knock On Wood.16-month fit ,strong dog with well-fitting dark eye ,balance of skull to muzzle ,which is strong ,with width of jaw. Has clean muscular neck flowing through well laid shoulders, to short filled loin. Has width to rump and strength in quarters. A very decent sort. 

Class 260 YD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 468 KICHENSIDE, Mrs Wendy Ann & KICHENSIDE, Mr Ian Deltarott Din Djarin JW -This 20 -month had a touch more maturity over the developed junior dog. Grand head, clean muscled cheek, dark expressive eye, correct stop to strong muzzle to big black nose and open nasal passages. Good body properties with firm back and depth to elbow and stands on well boned legs and Firm round feet.He worked well with handler to produce sound easy gait. Res CC.

VHC: Class 262 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 449 COURTNEY-BAUGHAN, Ms Gail Jhava Black Magic Over Whisperdown. Has clean head with bright almond eye. Decent cheeks and balance of muzzle. He has well placed shoulders, good bone, legs and feet. Well ribbed, short strong loin and width of croup. Presented in good coat and went with positive action. ,
2nd: 474 WILKINSON, Ms Yvonne Rottkinson Dark Knight. He has a good eye, rather full in cheek. A touch deep in ribs and Heavey through forehand. Decent quarters. he moved round ok, but a touch untidy coming today. 

Class 264 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 460 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Ch Fantasa Lucky Luciano – This 20-month is a stallion of a dog. Clean, strongly built with total balance. He presents a lovely shape of the breed, standing and moving. Absolutely sound and fit with hard muscular condition. On the move he has power, confidence with reach, drive, from correct skeletal construction. He stood away from his competitors. CC, BOB.
2nd: 473 VANSON, Miss A Pasko Du Temple D'adranos Von Tiesto Shcex CJW12 . 6-years upstanding dog, who is made right and therefore moved right. He appeals in head, neck and forehand. Stands on good legs and feet and well presented. 
3rd: 438 MASON, Mrs T J Ch Alkido's Ludicrous

Class 267 VB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 447 BROADBANK, Ms J H Bevanray Shirley At Nyandor ShCEx VW.  She is feminine with lovely head and expression. Good muzzle. She stands on well bone legs and feet. A sound honest bitch, who did her job and was presented in good coat. BV.
2nd: 462 HARWOOD, Mrs Rosalind Wolfbass Mumma Cita At KimianVery tidy bitch with a great personality. She has corrected skull, love expression from well-placed clean eye. Well bodied and strong rump. Worked with handler well. 

Class 268 MPB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 457 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Fantasa Strike While It's Hot. What a super 8-month bitch. Super head piece with balance, femininity and strength. She has bone and good leg to depth. Not, the maturity of her brother at the moment  
but out of the top draw and with finish, watch out, she’ll take some beating.  2nd: 458 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Fantasa Merry And Bright. 9-month a little at the growing stage, so not as balanced as the younger bitch. She appeals for size, construction and type. She was handled well and moved with sound, positive foot fall. Time will bring her on.

Class 269 PB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 441 AUSTEN, Mrs M & Mr R Ausrie's Beautiful Crazy.Rising 1-year and has a lovely balanced outline, with depth to leg. She is honest with typical features. Presented in muscle and good body for age. Moved ok, can stand a touch straight behind at times.

1st: 464 HOPGOOD, Mr Derek Saintlythans Cleopatra. 17-month, strong, but still feminine, she has a balance of head with broad skull, good stop and muzzle has level nasal passages to big black nose. Her neck flows through forehand to firm back. She has spring of rib, short muscular loin and strength behind. Moved on nicely. BJ.
2nd: 463 HOPGOOD, Mr Derek Saintlythans Hapi.Honest bitch with decent head, firm body and sound enough. She stands on decent legs and feet. Has pleasing personality and did enough on the move. 
3rd: 446 BRERETON, Miss E Xeli Von Bel Mondo Via Heidevan Portnadoran TAF

Has type throughout, starting at her balanced head flowing clean neckline, through her well angulated shoulders with correct depth to legs. Fit, muscular with complementary quarters to forehand. Great character and has free ground cover. 
2nd: 464 HOPGOOD, Mr Derek Saintlythans Cleopatra. Repeat. .

1st: 471 THOMAS, Mr Andrew & THOMAS, Mrs Zoe Abacab's Dreaming At Vedonis. Very pleasing for type from her lovely head through her flowing firm outline. She is healthy and fit, well produced and just right for size. So much appeal here and goes with pleasing side gait. 
2nd: 452 DOBSON, Miss Mhairi Louise Chantavory Coco Chanel. Honest bitch, turned out in good condition. Liked her expression, confident and has decent head piece, filled dry neck and good body and muscle. She good bone, legs and feet. 
3rd: 443 BORNE, Mr & Mrs Trevor And Pearl Starrosa Dance With Me At Trevearl
Class 274 LB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 445 BRERETON, Miss E Casey Wizard Montenegro Rott. Smart with posture. Pleasing head and presents a firm outline. A touch heavy through fore quarters, which detracted in the overall balance. She has power in hind quarters with firm hock. She was at one with handler showing good personality. 
2nd: 475 WILLIS-IMPEY, Mrs Carol Abacab's Duchess. She has a decent outline and firm topline. Could have more return of upper arm and therefore is a little wide in front coming. Handled to advantage and well turned out. 

Class 275 OB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 453 DUNHILL-HALL, Miss M Ch Rus Ch Farvist Gold Candy Fantasa. 2 lovely bitches, initially thought second would win .as first came in and seemed to give handler a bit of a hard time. Then she settled to her job and when she moved, she completely took it away. Such reach, drive and long easy gait, she then stood to show such beautiful lines, strength, clean powerful, yet femininity, coupled with a shape that deemed a confident air. At that point she had to have the   CC.
2nd: 448 BROADBANK, Ms J H Nyandor Never Say Never ShCEx. Type, quality and a class act, both standing and moving. She has balance, legs to depth providing a lovely outline and moved with deportment and commitment. Produced in good body and muscular development. RES CC.
