Thank you to all the exhibitors entered for allowing me the pleasure of assessing your dogs and accepting their placings graciously, I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thanks also to my two stewards who kept the ring running smoothly, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. The hall was very warm, but at no point did I witness any dogs suffering because of this and they all coped well. It was also very noisy and this along with the carpeted ring did not suit some exhibits when moving and caused some to be unsettled. Movement overall was good, however there were a few that pinned in when coming towards. Breed Standard changes do seem to be working their way through to younger classes.
Class 1661 SBD (4 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 3816 CANDIOTES, Miss Samantha MY MAN MARJORAM FOR JABULILE

18mth Dark Fawn boy with large square head of good overall balance with well-developed cheeks. Forehead is finely wrinkled, and he has a soft expression. Medium sized Bat Ears. Round well-placed eye, although would prefer them darker. Good nose placement, correct deep stop. Good width and depth to his well-padded muzzle with excellent pigmentation to his thick black lips. He has good turn up to lower jaw and correct dentition. Straight front which leads to strong pasterns and tight feet with short black nails. In profile, I would prefer a little more forechest but he does have depth to his well sprung ribs and good underline. Shapely neck of moderate length. Nice gentle rise over his short loin leading to small low set tail. Good hind angulation and well-muscled rear quarters, moved soundly in all directions
2nd: 3881 WALTON, Miss Chantelle BANKHOLT NORTHERN LIGHT

10mth Fawn Boy, overall larger in proportion and longer cast than 1st. He has a large square head well-padded cheek. Width and depth to muzzle and has good cushioning to lips. Good upsweep of lower jaw and correct undershot. Medium Bat Ears well carried. Dark round well placed eye. Thick strong neck. In profile he has good forechest and deep brisket, his front is well off for bone however would prefer it straighter and his feet are a little untidy, but he has desirable black nails. He is a little low on foreleg which gives the impression of him being a little bum high at this stage. He has a pleasing underline. Good sized tail albeit a little high set. Well let down hocks. Moved OK, overall gave the impression of being a little unsettled in his surroundings

1st: 3833 HOGAN, Miss D Ch Xentique Pandamonium For Baclaudi JW Sh.CM
8yrs Brindle Pied Male who I have judged before, he is still very much the showman and remains in excellent condition and presents as a tidy cobby package. He has a well-proportioned square head, good padding to his muzzle which is wide and deep. Bat ears of medium size and shape which he uses well on the move. The darkest round well-placed eyes and lovely soft expression. Well off for bone in front which leads to tidy feet. He has good width to his chest. Strong thick neck, correct shoulder placement and gentle rise to his topline. Excellent spring of rib. Strong hindquarters and is thick in thigh which are well muscled. Overall, in excellent condition and moves so soundly in all directions.

2nd: 3852 MORGAN LING, Mrs J Castrum Osinium Rule my World

8 mth old Dark Brindle litter brothers and not much to choose between them, I am sure they will swap places many a time. They both have a decent shape to their square heads and excellent muzzle in profile, prominent stop, and open nares. Good depth to muzzle, although would prefer a little more width of foreface to create less of a boxy overall look. Beautiful dark eyes, which are well placed. Medium sized Bat Ears, I preferred the ear set on 1st. They both have a good straight front and width to chest and depth to brisket, I just preferred the bone on 1st. Neat feet, tidy strong pasterns, and lovely short dark nails. In profile, they both have a shapely medium sized neck, good shoulder placement. 1st scored more for overall balance, they both have a gently rise over loin, but 2nd is shorter in this area. Both have good tails, shapely hindquarters with good angulation. On the move 1st was truer going away than his brother, but they both have a free action

1st: 3835 HUCKER, Mrs Bev Bevanray Terrypendrey

11mth Brindle Pied with fabulous clear short coat. He has a very symmetrical head being blessed with good double hooded markings, its developing well but there is still more to come. Good padding to cheeks and is correctly square in shape. He has large Bat Ears that are of an attractive shape and set, his skull being flat in between. Moderate size dark eyes correctly set at the same level as his prominent stop. He has a small muzzle in profile and a good turn up of lower jaw. His muzzle has good depth and has width developing. Correct dentition. Good amount of forechest, strong straight front with neat feet. His shapely thick neck leads to good shoulders and there is nothing exaggerated about his topline or underline. He has a short strong loin he rounds off nicely to his small tail. Well-muscled strong hindquarters but I would like a little more turn of stifle. He is a smart little mover, sound and true going all ways.

2nd: 3811 BROOKS, Mrs Louise & BROOKS, Mr Jason Serenant Maverick

11mth Dark Brindle. Gleaming close coat in excellent condition. He has a masculine square head with padded cheeks, broad finely wrinkled forehead. Good width and depth to muzzle which has enough in profile. Enough turn up of lower jaw at this stage, tidy lips. Correct underbite. Bat Ears of good size and shape and set correctly. Round wide set eyes level with his prominent stop. He has good reach of neck. Well placed shoulders, straight well boned front to neat feet with short black nails. In profile he covers more of the ground than 1st and has more rise over his loin to his low set small tail. He is not as strong in hind quarters as 1st needing to muscle up a little more. On the move he was a little uncoordinated at first but settled for his handler enough for me to award his place.

Class 1665 JD (8 Entries) Abs: 0

Nice size class of young males at differing stages of development with some nice examples just losing out purely on maturity
1st: 3858 PEARCE, Mrs S BULLHAWK CEASE'N DESIST

16mth old well marked Brindle shown in good coat condition. He has a large square head, firm well-padded cheeks. Broad forehead with a nice rise, he has just right amount of fine wrinkling when alert. His Bat Ears are wide at the base and carried high, with just enough flat skull between them. He has large round wide set eyes which are set level with his prominent stop. Good width and depth to muzzle and excellent mouth, would just prefer a little more chin visible under his thick cushioned lips. He has ample forechest and good width to chest and depth of brisket. Strong thick neck of good length. His front is straight and well off for bone. Tight pasterns and feet. He covers similar ground in profile to 2nd, but I preferred his rise over loin. Pleasing underline and enough spring of rib. Small Tail present. He has a solid back end, which shows in his movement which was free and flowing.

2nd: 3822 CUND, Mr Dean & CUND, Miss Abbie & HICKIN, Mrs Cla Chelmbull Space Man

16mths old Brindle another with lovely markings through his short close coat. Square head of good proportions with width created by his padded cheeks. Broad domed forehead with fine wrinkling. He has more width of skull between his Bat Ears than 1st, they are of correct size and shape. Medium sized round eye which are set level with his stop. Good width and depth to square muzzle and good turn up of lower jaw giving correct underbite. Soft expression. Good depth of chest, but not the width between his straight well boned front than 1st, although he has more length of leg. He has neat tight feet and short black nails. Good reach to his shapely neck and well-placed shoulders. Gently rise over strong loin and correct cut up to underline. Would prefer more spring of rib. Low set small tail. Not as thick in thigh of 1st, has good hind angulation and moved true and soundly with his handler in all directions maintaining topline on the movement

1st: 3883 WATKINS-MCGOWAN, Mrs S & WATKINS-MCGOWAN, Mr M Mactawbay Ultimate Edition

12mth nicely marked Brindle, giving away a lot in maturity to 2nd. Developing Square head of decent shape and proportions for age. Dark expressive round eyes correctly set. Dome to forehead which is finely wrinkled. Large Bat Ears of good shape would prefer them a little higher set. Excellent mouth. Good turn up of lower jaw, muzzle is wide and deep and has a good chin. Well cushioned lips. He has width of chest and is well boned in front but needs to tighten in pasterns and feet. Short dark nails. Good depth of brisket and spring of rib which are well set back. Moderate length of neck and good shoulder placement. Shapely in topline with gently rise over his short loin and matched in profile by nice underline. He rounds off behind to small low set tail. Good hindquarters with developing muscle and thickness. Short strong hocks. He moves well but still needs to tighten in front, holds his topline well and sound going away. Preferred his overall cobbiness to 2nd.
2nd: 3849 LOVELL, Mrs J & STOKES, Mrs N Pinedown Glory Boy

19mth Dark Brindle with masculine well developed Square Head. Good width of foreface and fill under eye, these are wide set, round and level with his prominent stop, although I would prefer them a little darker. He has a kind expression. Bat Ears of medium size which are of good shape and carried parallel with flat skull between. Good width and depth of muzzle. Thick cushioned lips. Strong straight boned front with enough width between. Good feet and Dark Black nails. In profile he has enough fore chest. Shapely neck with good reach. His underline has slightly more of a tuck up than 1st.  He has good spring of rib, although not as well set back. He has more rise to his topline than 1st. Strong hindquarters and low set small tail. On moving he is a little untidy in front and is not as straight and true as 1st coming towards, he holds his topline in profile and it was front movement that scored him down.

1st: 3813 BURNS, Miss M Chelmbull Freddy the foreman

16mth Brindle, Litter mate to 2nd in Junior dog and is of a similar stamp. Large square head with well-developed cheeks, broad forehead with just the right amount of fine wrinkling when alert. His medium sized Bat Ears could be a little higher set but are of good size and shape. Round medium sized eyes set level to his prominent stop. Good width of foreface and depth to his muzzle. Good upsweep to lower law, well-padded lips. Front on, he is straight and well boned, which leads to tight pasterns and neat tight feet finished nicely with his short nails. He has good depth to Brisket and layback of shoulders. He covers more ground than 2nd but has tidy underline and a little more rise over his loin and enough spring of rib. He does tend to overstretch when stood lengthening him in profile. His hindquarters are well muscled and moderately angulated. Small low set tail. Moved soundly in all directions.

2nd: 3879 VEARNCOMBE AND HALE, Mr, Mrs & Mrs J. A & S Ruption Knightcott Back to Black

2yr with lovely brindling through his smooth coat. He has good balance to his square head with broad forehead and good width between his medium sized ears which are carried upright and parallel. He has a good width and depth to muzzle but preferred the upsweep to lower jaw on 1st. He has wide set round dark eyes and a soft yet masculine expression. He is good for bone and straight in front, has strength in pasterns and lovely, neat feet. Good width to chest. He has thick strong neck of good length, correct lay of shoulder and gentler rise to his topline that 1st and that matches his underline well. Good spring of rib. He again covers more ground than some but retains balance. His has a shapely rear which is in good hard condition. Moved out well in all directions and he pushed 1st hard, it was a real close call between them.

Class 1668 LD (8 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: 3814 CAIRNS, Mr Richard & BROOKS, Mr Jonathan Corursus Become The One JW

2.5yrs Dark Brindle, a smart one who presents as a smaller, yet well balanced cobby package in profile than some in the class. He has a square head in proportion to his size. Round well-set dark eye giving him sweetest expression, yet still all male. Prominent stop and gentle rise to his finely wrinkled forehead. His Bat ears are of correct size and shape, and they are carried parallel with good set. He has excellent turn up of lower jaw and good mouth. Good width and depth of muzzle. His front is straight and well boned leading to neat feet but would prefer tighter pasterns. He has good depth to brisket. He has a shapely neck and good shoulder placement. His underline has gentle cut up, his ribs are well set back and have good spring. His topline has the required gentle rise over his short strong loin and leads to his small low set tail. He has excellent rear angulation with good turn of stifle and low set hocks. He is free and flowing on the move and holds his topline well. Overall, a lovely boy that I considered for the RCC, but he just tends to stand underneath himself in front when his loses focus which tipped the balance for me.

2nd: 3843 KELLY, Mrs E Casemates Criterion

3yr Dark Brindle, who really does act the clown giving his handler a tough time on table and on the move. He has a large masculine square head, good padding to cheeks. Medium sized round eye set level with his prominent stop. Gentle rise to his skull and desired fine wrinkling to forehead.  Bat ears of good size and shape and are carried parallel and set well. He has good width and depth to his square muzzle and a good amount of chin. His front is well boned and straight. Would prefer shorter toes. He has good reach of neck, well-muscled shoulders. Deep brisket, ribs not as well set back as 1st , I would prefer more length of sternum. He has a gentle rise over his loin. Small low set tail present. Moderate hind angulation. Moved OK once settled.

Class 1669 OD (4 Entries) Abs: 1

Both males I have seen previously at Dog of The Year and was a pleasure to get the opportunity to go over them again. Both are cracking examples of the breed and very worthy of their titles
1st: 3847 KRALL, Mr & Mrs J & HOLM, Dr Jessica Ch Dreamlegacy Orpheus At Jafrak (Imp) Port

4yr Clear coated Fawn Pied, full of substance and fills the eye, covers a little more of the ground than 2nd but has good balance. He excels in his masculine head, it is large, square and symmetrical and not overdone in anyway. Large well-developed cheeks. Excellent width and depth to his muzzle, correct underbite and good mouth. His lips are tight and have plenty of cushioning. He has good upsweep to lower jaw but would prefer a little more visible chin. His eyes are medium sized and round and set level with his stop. Medium sized bat ear of good shape and set. He has good width to chest and depth of brisket. Thick neck of moderate length. Strong well boned straight front which leads to tidy feet. Strong well-muscled shoulders which have correct lay. He has a pleasing underline which gently cuts up. Well off for rib with good spring. He has a gentle rise over his strong loin, I preferred his topline to 2nd. He was carrying correct weight giving him a visible waist. His hind quarters are strong, and he is thick in thigh. His topline finishes with a small low set tail. He was settled on the move and worked well with his handler, moving with free and flowing action, straight and true going away and coming towards. Did not put a foot wrong and I was happy to award him DCC and BOB
2nd: 3821 CUND, Mr Dean & CUND, Miss Abbie & HARROP, Mr Alex Ch Esp Ch World Chelmbull Rocket Man

2.5yr Brindle. Not as large a package as 1st but is all male and has good balance in profile and presented in fabulous hard condition. Another that excels in head properties. Attractive large square head with no one part being exaggerated. He has well-muscled cheeks. Width and depth to his broad square muzzle. Good upsweep to lower jaw, correct underbite and good amount of chin visible under tight thick padded lips. He has medium sized round eyes that are well placed, level with his prominent stop and domed forehead is finely wrinkled and he has excellent shape and size to his Bat Ears which are carried high and parallel, and he has an alert expression, full of character. Good amount of forechest and good width between his strong straight well boned front which leads to nice tight feet and correct dark nails. His neck has a nice arch and is of good length and leads to well laid shoulders. He has good spring of rib. He is shorter in loin and has more of a roach to topline than 1st. He has strong hind quarters with good muscling, more than moderate hind angulation and hocks well let down. On the move he holds his topline well and is straight in front however I did not feel he was as true behind as 1st. and he was another one not settled in his surroundings. Despite this he was very worthy winner of the RCC

1st: 3806 AYRISS, Mrs Yvonne Katakia's Wish Upon A Star

17mth Brindle with White Markings. She has a feminine head of good square shape, with width and depth to her padded muzzle and enough upsweep. Tight well cushioned lips. Her eyes are lovely, dark, and well placed she has a gorgeous melting expression; they are level with her prominent stop. She has good nares. Her ears are of nice size and shape and well set and flat skull in between. Good width between her straight well boned front and she has nice tight feet. She has good length of neck and well-placed shoulders. She is a little longer in profile than 2nd. Deep brisket and good cut up to her underline. She has a gently rise over her loin but would prefer more rounding off over her croup to her tail. She has good thickness to her hindquarters and moved soundly in all directions.
2nd: 3815 CANDIOTES, Miss Samantha OAKPRIDES LUCKY LADY FOR JABULILE - 4yrs clear coated Fawn. More compact in body shape than 1st. Pretty girl, with square head, good width to cheeks, lovely pigment to her muzzle, which has good width and depth. She has good upsweep to lower jaw and width of chin. Her eyes are dark and round. She has just a small amount of fine wrinkling to her domed forehead, her ears are a little wider set than 1st, but they are of decent size and shape. In front she does not have the width of chest of 1st, but she has more length of leg and is straight boned and this leads to tidy feet. Her neck is of good length. She has good spring of rib and a shapely topline with gentle rise over her short loin and low set small tail. She doesn’t have the thickness in her hindquarters as 1st and would prefer a little more turn of stifle. Handled well and moved out soundly in all directions

9yr Dark Fawn who I have pleasure of judging previously and like the male veteran she has not lost any of her quality. She has a strong square head but it still retains femininity. Well placed and used Bat Ears of correct size and shape, her skull flat between them. Gorgeous dark round eyes which give her that melting typical Frenchie expression. She retains good width and depth of muzzle, which has just a small amount of grey giving away her age. Correct upsweep to lower jaw, with correct dentition. Strong straight front, tight pasterns, good width to chest and deep in brisket. Strong shapely neck which is of moderate length and leads to excellent shoulders. Everything blends into each other and fits together so well on this “young” lady, her topline has a gentle rise over her strong muscled loin and in profile she retains a fabulously toned underline with gentle cut up. She has a shapely rear end, which is well muscled with good thickness to her thigh. If ever there was a dog that the phrase “If it’s made right, it’s moves right” was made for its this one. She excels on the move, holding her topline as she floats around the ring on a loose lead at one with her handler defying her age, out moving everything in the challenge and I had no hesitation in awarding her the BCC (her 3rd) which was met by loud applause from ringside. Her performance and movement today cemented my belief that she makes a very worthy champion indeed.
2nd: 3850 MAXWELL, Mrs D Ch Eastonite Maxwells News JW Sh.CM

7yrs Fawn with black mask, another lovely girl who I have seen from ringside for many years. She is cobby and well off for bone. She has a good square head and plenty of width to her muscled cheeks. She has good amount of muzzle in profile, it is wide and deep. She has large nose pad and good nostrils for her age. Her eyes are round and dark and set level with her stop. She has good width to her forehead which is softly wrinkled and wide set Bat ears of decent size and shape. She has good width in front and depth of brisket. Strong straight boned front and tidy feet. Her neck is thick and has enough length. She has a lovely gentle rise to topline rounding off over her short loin to small low set tail. Good spring of rib, but she was carrying a little too much weight. Good thickness to thighs. Not as true behind as 1st but she moved out well.

She has a good amount of muzzle in profile and open nares. Her width and depth of muzzle is still developing but she has good width of chin and lovely upsweep. Nice dome to forehead and just right amount of wrinkling. Bat ears are of medium size and correctly rounded in shape. She has good straight boned front but would prefer neater feet. She just needs to drop in brisket which should come with age. Good length to neck, well placed shoulders. Good underline which has a nice gentle cut up. She is longer in profile than 2nd and is at that age where she is appears a little bum high at times. Shapely hindquarters with good angulation. Moved well.

11.5mth Fawn with large black mask. Square head with good width to cheeks, enough width of muzzle and chin. Not the upsweep and layback of 1st. She has wide set dark round eye and sweet expression. Ears are a good size and shape, however a little low set. She has a straight boned front with good width of chest, would prefer tighter feet to complete the picture. She has a good length of neck and shoulder placement. In profile she carries more substance than first, has a good depth to her ribs. Gentle rise over loin which finishes with good tail and nice underline. Developing a strong rear with moderate angulation. Moved out well soundly in all directions.

16mth Brindle – Pretty girl who scored on head properties. Lovely square head, everything where it should be, nothing exaggerated. She has nice width and depth to muzzle and enough in profile. Good upsweep and width to lower jaw, good amount of chin visible under her cushioned lips. Correct bite. Good nose placement and nares. Her dark round eyes are set nicely level with her deep stop and have that hint of naughtiness that you expect in a Frenchie. Her ears are bang on for set and they are a good size and shape. Good in front with well boned straight legs, neat feet, and lovely dark nails. Good width of chest and length of neck. She has spring of rib and defined waist. In profile, she has just enough rise over her strong loin and could round off a little more over croup. Decent size tail. Good length of thigh and shown in fit hard condition. On the move is where that naughtiness shows and when settled she moved out soundly and well enough for me to assess.

1st: 3862 SCOTT, Ms T AMUELLE FABULOUS FLORENCE JW

19mth brindle with lovely markings through her short coat. She was closest to the overall cobby stamp I was looking for. She has a feminine square head. Broad skull. Dark round wide set eyes. Good rise of skull which is finely wrinkled. Medium size well carried Bat Ears. She has good width of muzzle with thick cushioned lips, would prefer a little more depth to create true squareness. Good nares. She is wide and straight in front and is well off for bone. Moderate length of neck to well laid shoulders. In profile she has good depth and spring to her ribs. Gentle rise to topline over short strong loin. Tidy underline. She has good strong hindquarters and is in fit well muscled condition. Good length and width of thigh and moderate turn of stifle. Small tail present. She moved soundly coming and going.

2nd: 3878 VEARNCOMBE AND HALE, Mr, Mrs & Mrs J. A & S Ruption Knightcott Back in Black JW

2yrs well marked Brindle who is more up on the leg and leaner than 1st. She has a lovely square feminine head, clean and nothing exaggerated. Good width to cheeks and a balanced square muzzle with good upsweep, correct dentition. Good width of chin visible and tight lips. She has expressive dark round wide set eyes, level with her well-defined stop. Fine wrinkling to her broad forehead. Good shaped Bat Ears and they are well set. She is not as wide in front as 1st, but her front is straight, and she is ok for bone. Good length of neck and well laid shoulders. In profile she is longer in loin but has the required gentle rise over it. She has a good-sized tail. Would prefer a little more width of thigh, she is fit condition, but I feel she could benefit from carrying a little more weight to balance out her frame and outline. Another sound on the move.

2yr Fawn with large black mask. Feminine well balanced square head with good width created by her well-developed cheeks, she has good proportions to her square muzzle that is visible in profile. Thick lips which have an attractive fit over her wide underjaw. Well placed nose with good nares. She has dark round eyes that give her a lovely expression. Good rise to her forehead which is broad and clean. Medium sized Bat Ears that could be carried a little higher. Correct dentition. She has strength through her straight boned front, good width to chest and depth of brisket. In profile she is compact and solid and has good spring of rib. Gentle cut up to her underline and her topline is shapely with rise over her short loin. Tail present. Moderate angulation behind, well-muscled thighs. She is shown in fit condition and moved straight and freely in all directions and was always very attentive to her handler. I preferred her overall shape and proportions to 2nd.

2nd: 3807 BAGNALL, Ms Jeannette Joy Mejeric senorita

Approaching 3yrs Fawn, she covers more ground than 1st. Another with balance to width and depth of skull. Well placed Bat Ears of good size and shape that she used at all times. Moderately wide set round eyes which are dark in colour. She has good muzzle in profile, but not the upsweep in lower jaw as 1st or depth of muzzle. Large black nosepad and good nares. Good length to her neck. Clean straight well boned front with neat feet and black nails. She has good depth to brisket and lovely gentle cut up to underline and is well ribbed back. Her topline has a gentle rise over her loin. She has a small tail present. Good length of second thigh and well let down hocks, would prefer a little more angulation to stifle. Another sound on the move in all directions.

21mths, Clear coated Fawn. Giving away a lot in size to others in the class, but she is a neat well-balanced package. Gorgeous feminine square head with good width of foreface, strong in muzzle, good width to lower jaw and neat and tidy well-padded lips which are a tight fit. Correct undershot and good mouth. He has deepest dark round eyes and a melting expression. Good dome to her forehead which is well off for wrinkle. She used her medium sized Bat Ears well and is so showy. Despite her size, she has good bone and a super straight front and tight feet. She has good depth of brisket and a pleasing underline. Her neck has a lovely arch, she has a gentle rise to her topline over her short strong loin, rounded rump, and low set small tail. She has good spring of rib. Thick in thigh with firm tone, well let down hocks and moderate hind angulation, she is a sound mover, maintaining her width in front and moving out freely with her handler. Absolutely adorable little girl.

2nd: 3805 AYRISS, Mrs Yvonne Lady Rebellion at Boulevaya

2yr Dark Brindle who is a larger package than 1st but is a good honest bitch and is well constructed. She has a feminine head of good proportions with nice width of skull. She has good width and depth to her muzzle, correct upsweep, and good layback. She has lovely round dark eyes which are set moderately wide. She has a clean broad domed forehead, flat skull between her medium sized Bat Ears, which she was reluctant to use at times. Kind expression. Well boned straight front, leading to tight pasterns and feet. Well-muscled shoulders with correct placement. In profile she is longer in loin that 1st and has more of a rise to topline. Gentle cut up to underline. Shapely rear and small low set tail. Just preferred the cobbiness of 1st. Presented in fit condition which showed in her movement which was sound in all directions and was unlucky to come up against 1st

What a fabulous class, such depth of quality, a real pleasure to judge

1st: 3863 SMITH, Mrs Michelle & PRATT, Mrs Jean & SMITH, Mr Ch Jafrak So Flirty at Khanin

3yr Brindle, who caught my eye for her overall balance and size. She has a beautiful feminine head, so correct in proportion and nothing exaggerated. Square in shape, with excellent upsweep to her broad and deep muzzle, correct dentition. Good cushioning to her U-shaped tight lips and good amount of visible chin. Well-developed cheeks. She has gorgeous dark round expressive eyes which are correctly set. Gentle rise to her forehead and good width between her medium sized Bat Ears and she carries them well. She has good front assembly, having enough forechest and depth of brisket. She has good bone to her straight front and tight feet with short dark nails. She excels in balance in profile, with gentle rise of topline over her strong loin rounding off over her croup to a small low set tail, she has an equally unexaggerated underline. Excellent spring of rib. Firm well-muscled hindquarters that have moderate turn of stifle. She is a super sound and pushed hard in the challenge on the move. Really smashing girl that I would love on my sofa, and I was pleased to award the RCC

2nd: 3848 LOVELL, Mrs J & STOKES, Mrs N Ch Winuwuk Solana at Pinedown

4yr Brindle, another one with a clean quality feminine headpiece. Square in shape with good width and depth to her square muzzle, good upsweep and correct undershot. Her lips are well cushioned and a tight fit and she too has a good amount of width to underjaw. Wide padded cheeks. She has a prominent stop between her dark round eyes, which have a hint of naughtiness to them. Her domed forehead has just a small amount of fine wrinkling when alert, her ears are carried parallel and are of good size and set. Like the 1st, she has a good front assembly, straight well boned front, with strong pasterns and neat feet. In profile she has a lovely shapely neck of moderate length and good shoulder placement. She too has a lovely unexaggerated topline and matching underline. She has a short strong loin, shapely rounded rump, and good amount of turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Another super sound bitch that moved out well in all directions, unlucky to meet 1st.
