Long-term closure - M3 junction 9 northbound entry slip road
We'll close the M3 junction 9 northbound entry slip road from 9pm Friday 31 July 2026 until winter 2027.
This means there will be no access the M3 northbound from the roundabout.

Please remember that there are different diversion routes for the summer weekend closures listed below.

Summer weekend closures
We'll close the M3 junction 9 roundabout on these weekends:
9pm Friday 31 July to 6am on Monday 3 August
9pm Friday 21 August to 6am on Monday 24 August
9pm Friday 11 September to 6am on Monday 14 September
We need these closures to finish essential road connections to the new roundabout and bridges on the interchange.
Please remember that only the roundabout will be closed, meaning:
the M3 is open through junction 9
however, the slip roads leading on and off the junction will be closed.
