1st: 379 WEST, Mrs C Ch Archidax Dark Phoenix, Seven-year-old red bitch, very shapely and presenting a beautiful profile outline. Moderate throughout and not overdone. Good head with strong muzzle, good dentition, slightly arched skull and well-set ears. Strong, arched neck into a beautiful front assembly, with well-laid shoulders, good return of upper arm and a deep, oval chest. Good elbow placement, held close to the body. Long keel, ribbed well back with a strong topline and short, strong loin. Good tail set, excellent width of first and second thigh, well-turned stifles and short, strong hocks. She excels on the move. Pleased to award her Best Veteran and Reserve Best Bitch.

2nd: 374 MILLS- JONES, Mrs C Ch Carlita Sunrise JW, Impressive eight-year-old male from the top drawer. Loved his overall shape and balance. Good head with a strong jaw, excellent coat and furnishings. Strong neck into an excellent front assembly, with excellent return of upper arm placing his legs well underneath him and elbows held close to the body. Deep, oval thorax with keel extending well back, strong topline and short, strong loin. Well-muscled and well-angled rear with strong hocks. Moved freely and with drive.

3rd: 368 HAWKINS, Mr A Martinks Storm In A Teacup For Lonaza, a particularly well-handled male with a fabulous temperament making up a nice trio, well done! 


Class 190 PD/B (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 376 MILLS- JONES, Mrs C Carlita Destiny's Child, Ten-month-old baby girl, and what a lovely baby she is. So happy and friendly with a wonderful temperament. Good proportions and balance throughout. Lovely, conical-shaped head with kind dark eyes, strong muzzle, slightly arched skull and good ear set. Strong neck set nicely into well-laid shoulders, with good return of upper arm. Excellent bone and feet, with good height-to-length proportions. Deep chest, keel extending well back, long ribcage. Strong topline with a gradual underline and a nicely angled rear to complete the picture. Moved well when settled. Pleased to award her Best Puppy in Breed.

Well balanced with good angulation fore and aft, shown in excellent harsh coat and ideal body condition. Conical-shaped head with dark almond eye and good strong jaws. Strong neck, excellent bone and feet. Good length, depth and spring of rib, with a short, strong loin. Held his topline both standing and on the move. Excellent width of first and second thigh, well-turned stifles and short, strong hocks. Moved well, holding his outline and head carriage throughout. Pleased to award him Reserve Best Dog.

1st: 380 WEST, Mrs C & SEXTON, Mrs Laura Bimini Night Sky With Archidax, Handsome 17-month-old male with a lovely shape and outline in profile. Attractive head with kind dark eyes, slightly arched skull and powerful jaws. Elegant front assembly with strong, arched neck into well-laid shoulders, good return of upper arm and elbows held close to the body. Excellent bone and feet. Oval thorax with a deep keel extending well back, good topline and underline and a short, strong loin. Good width of thigh with well-turned stifles. A little unsettled today after being spooked by a dog in the next ring, but settled on the move to show off his free stride.

1st: 375 MILLS- JONES, Mrs C Ch Bimini Moonrise At Carlita, Handsome two-year-old male who won this nice class on breed type and balance. Presents a stunning profile outline and shown in excellent coat and condition, very well handled. Conical-shaped head with dark brown almond eyes, clean through the cheeks with powerful jaws with good coat furnishings in all the right places. Viewed from the front he has an oval thorax with plenty of heartroom, forelegs well placed close to the body and good bone and feet. Scores well in angulation both front and rear. Elegant neck set into well-laid shoulders with excellent return of upper arm. Ribbing is long and deep with enough spring. Strong topline, gradual underline and excellent tail set. Good width of first and second thigh, well-turned stifles and hocks well let down. Moved true in all directions. Pleased to award him Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex.

2nd: 369 KENT, Mrs Yvonne Ch Barratini Du Beke At Lokmadi, Two-year-old male, slightly different in breed type, but lots to like and clearly a worthy Champion. Good head with dark almond eye, slightly arched skull and particularly good underjaw, clean through the cheeks. Strong neck set into nicely angled shoulders. Excellent bone and feet, with forelegs placed well underneath him. Deep keel with plenty of ground clearance, ribbing extending well back into a short loin. Excellent width of thigh and strong hocks. A smooth, free mover.

1st: 378 ROSE, Mrs Beverley Jane Rozamie Reflection Of Rosencrantz Jw, 16-month-old bitch, moderate throughout and not overdone. Well-shaped head with dark almond eye and strong jaws. Oval thorax, strong neck and well-laid shoulders. Would benefit from a little more length of upper arm to place her forelegs further underneath her. Good bone and feet. Well-shaped ribcage with deep keel extending well back, good topline and underline and a short, strong loin. Good width of first and second thigh, well-turned stifles and short, strong hocks. Moved very well and true in all directions.

2nd: 366 BRUTY, Mrs Geraldene & TOMSETT, Mrs S Dajean Kristar, Close up to 1 and a very different type. This four-year-old chocolate wild boar bitch is very shapely and well balanced. Pretty head of good proportions. Excellent forechest with a voluminous thorax, well-laid shoulders and good return of upper arm. Would prefer a little more ground clearance at the keel, although she was somewhat unsettled by the noise in the tent and didn’t appear at her best when standing. Lovely shaped ribcage giving good top and underlines, with a strong loin. Well-angled rear with good width of thigh. Moved well when settled.

She is the correct size and shape, presenting a shapely profile outline, moderate throughout with nothing overdone. Good height-to-length proportions, well angled throughout with good strength. Pretty, conical-shaped head with dark almond eye, powerful jaws and good ear set, with correct coat furnishings in all the right places. Long, strong, arched neck flowing smoothly into well-laid shoulders with equal return of upper arm. Elbows held close to the body, with excellent bone and knuckled feet. Deep chest with keel extending well back, well ribbed with a strong topline, gradual underline and short, strong loin. Excellent tail set and well-muscled rear, with good width of first and second thigh, well-turned stifles and short, strong, parallel rear pasterns. Moved very well, free and with drive. Delighted to award her Best Bitch and Best of Breed.

2nd: 371 KILROY, Mrs J Rozelle Rosalie At Janacop JW, Two-year-old red bitch presenting a lovely shape and profile. Excellent head with slightly arched skull, powerful jaws and correct ear set. Shown in harsh coat and good body condition. Strong, arched neck set into well-laid shoulders with good return of upper arm. Voluminous, deep chest with well-placed forelegs, good bone and knuckled feet. Strong topline, well ribbed back and a well-angled rear with low hocks. Moved very well.
