BLACKPOOL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2008.

DOGS THAT WERE NOT JUDGED

Due to the abandonment of our championship show on the 22nd June, forced upon us by very high winds beyond our control.
Any dog that was not judged in their breed class will be reimbursed for that class only (not subsequent classes) by way of the following method:-
A claim must be made to the society within 30 days of this notice (27th August 2008), with the dog’s name, ring number, breed, along with a self addressed envelope.
By return the society will sent a credit voucher to the value of the first entry to be redeemed on an entry at next years show (unfortunate you will only be allowed to enter by post as the on-line entry will NOT accept vouchers).
We are extremely sorry that all those whom travelled to support us did not get the chance to show their dogs, we appreciate your patience and understanding at this difficult time.

Blackpool Championship Show - Sunday 22nd June 2008

The Blackpool Championship Show after it was abandoned showing the catering tent flattened by the wind and the main ring in tatters. A catering assistant was taken away by ambulance with scalding, but is expected to make a full recovery. The fire service were in attendance as a precaution.
The Chief Fire Officer praised the decision by Secretary Steve Hall to clear the showground of exhibitors and dogs for the safety and welfare of all concerned.
